"The video was shot in The Grand Old Opry in Glasgow, a country and western dancehall. The only real brief the band had was to have a beating human heart in the video and them performing. So I tried to construct a wee story that would explain why someone might be 'flatlining'. 

"The Band played the song live and we worked round the sync issues in the edit. I think the fact they were actually playing helped them give a strong performance. Luckily we shot two days before Halloween so there was a lot of fake blood in the shops..."
