Red Drapes 'Dirty Windows' by Miles Bingham
David Knight - 15th Oct 2013
MIles Bingham, who made an uplifting debut video for Silent Devices' Una a few months back has followed up for another low budget video for an unsigned band, Red Drapes' Dirty Windows. But as the name of the song suggests, this one is more downbeat.
The song is all about being stuck in rubbish, dead-end jobs – so we see various men slumped in deep depression, heads sunk under their arms, while the tops of their heads are singing the track.
Miles clearly knows a lot of baldies – and it is an idea that sustains throughout, so long as you appreciate a certain type of English misanthropy.
