David Knight - 4th Oct 2013

A van crashes in the woods, a man grabs for a rifle, a girl finds her way to the edge of a lake beyond the woods, removes her clothes, steps into the water...

Anthony Dickenson sets up an intriguing scenario, and toys with perceptions, as this gifted artist of camera technique dips into narrative with his video for Jon Hopkins' Breathe This Air.

Not to say the photography isn't immaculate. Anthony refrains from trickery, but creates new perspectives through stunning aerial shots courtesy of the clever Octocopter in this piece shot on location in Bolboci in Romania - where the air is excellent.
