O Conqueror 'Fake Love' by Christophe Thockler

David Knight - 26th Sept 2013

Earlier this year Christophe Thockler took 10,000 photos (and used a lot of needles and thread) to created an animated embroidered lyric video for Black Books' Favorite Place. A few months later and he's turned his attention to toy cars, and gone on a very impressive stop-motion drive.

Christophe's video for O Conqueror's Fake Love sees a model vintage yellow Porsche go off on a journey, around it's house but then venturing into the great outdoors.

Once again, he's taken in the region of 10,000 photos (and 150 hours of shooting, no less) to hand animate the car, and as with the Black Books, it's not just the animation that's impressive. Christophe achieves a rich look with the photography, turning his car into a real hero. A wonderful effort.
