A monochrome performance video for Daughter's sublime Youth by The Mitcham Submarine which highlights the intimacy of the track with its minimalism, and judicious use of lighting - and was inpired by a live performance by the band earlier this year.

The Mitcham Submarine:

"I went to see Daughter perform at the Hackney Empire in London on January 24th.  I was mesmerised by their performance and the lights, especially the lights. I thought to myself 'I would love to make a video for this band', we'll keep it simple and use three elements inspired by their live show - darkness, space & light.  

"Daughter were with me every step of the way on this journey and I'd like to say a massive thank you to them.  Also, very special thanks to Ed Horrox at 4AD for his priceless inspiration, Executive Producer Hannah Cooper for putting it all together, and Director of Photography Alex Ryle for making the magic happen and being a master of his craft."
