Life ‘See The Light’ by Joe Dixon

Promonews - 25th Apr 2013

Life is a four-piece from London fronted by 20 year old Mike Sharp, who takes a fair old pasting in their video for debut single See The Light (taken from the forthcoming EP ‘Elixir’ and available as a free download on 27th May), directed by Joe Dixon of directing duo Tim & Joe.

In the video young Mike is tied to a chair, and then beaten to a pulp by various people. It’s not quite a gangster scenario, possibly more of a metaphor for the perils of show business. Says Joe: “What self-respecting music video director hasn’t wanted to beat the hell out of their star performer? Well happily for me, I got the chance. It was a really fun day, everyone worked brilliantly, beautiful lighting once again from Marcus Autelli and a superb performance from Mike and his abusive pals.”
