Taken from their album Family, The Cast Of Cheers turn to Alan Masferrer for the promo to Human Elevator. Shot in Barcelona and sporting a vintage 70s look, Masferrer introduces a host of characters - some crazy, some normal and some just plain weird - who live in an appartment block, via a doorway (or elevator) to each floor. "It was a crazy 16 hour shooting day with 13 different set changes and a lot of actors to coordinate" explains Alan. "All the crew did a great job to get the video in the can. As for the concept, I wanted to give the viewer the choice to be anyone, becoming the main character of the story. "We shot with vintage Kowa anamorphic lenses to get a 70's vintage look with a 2:35 format to get a more puzzling and subtle style (and to give an extra work to our VFX composer, who had to rebuild some walls of the long shots). "Thanks also to Ian Pons Jewell and Dobrina Manolova (Studio Murmur) for their support and John Moule and all my crew for making this possible". http://www.youtube.com/watchv=Eqb7Te-KWEg
