Afrikaan art project cum hiphop sensations Die Antwoord are back with the video for their new single I Fink U Freeky (from their upcoming album TEN$ION), courtesy of South African photographer Roger Ballen and Antwoord's Ninja.

The video features Ballen's distinctive black & white photography and aesthetic, as well as his interest for marginalised characters, sometimes reminiscent of Tod Browning's Freaks.

It's definitely dark in some places but, of course, that fits well with Die Antwoord's unmistakeable black humour: from interesting hand drawings on the walls in the background, unusual dance moves (and even more unusual dancers) and somebody banging on a dead lion's head with a club(!).

And just when you think you're watching yet another video promoting Dr. Dre's Beats headphones, you see them getting smashed with a brick. so he won't be producing Die Antwoord any time soon. It's definitely freaky, but we like it a lot... Valeria Fiordimare
