David Knight - 9th Sept 2011

Daniels Kwan and Scheinart have rapidly established a reputation as masters of beautifully orchestrated chaos and pratfall violence. Their video for Battles' My Machines has those elements - but it's also a different kind of thing from their previous work.

It features Gary Numan, and two escalators, and its awesome. You will take the stairs from now on, whenever possible.

And this was co-produced by Warp Records and The Studio at The Creators Project - the partnership between Intel and Vice magazine which has also made several wonderful things happen at live shows at Coachella, including collabs between Chris Milk and Arcade Fire, and J Spaceman and Jon Glazer...

And there is a making of the video coming soon on the Creators Project website.
