Fulton Lights 'Staring Out Of The Window' by Ninian Doff

Jimmy Brown - 21st July 2011

Ninian Doff heads off to the park to film crows going about their everyday business for the promo to Fulton Lights' Staring Out Of The Window, with awesome results...
"I had the idea of how perfect arms would look on crows for a while but couldn't quite work out where to use it," Ninian explains. "Then watching '60s videos of Tom Jones crooning suddenly gave me the idea that an old school performance video would lend itself perfectly to the crows - they already have the dapper black suits and confident struts! Fulton Lights liked the idea straight away.

Fulton Lights liked the idea straight away. "Despite having the unpredictable cast of wild crows in a park I still storyboarded the whole video first. This meant that when I turned up at the park I had a long list of all the scenes I had to try and find. "Weirdly the crows performed beautifully and even fulfilled the most demanding items on the list like 'singer waves as he runs through crowd of waiting paparazzi!'"
