Macy Gray’s Beauty in the World Cup by Giuliano Bekor

David Knight - 23rd June 2010

On this day when the spectre of disaster hangs over England's World Cup dreams, the rallying-cry, flag-waving videos starring James Corden appear to have dried up. Let's face it, we're all fearing the worst.

Let's face it, we're all fearing the worst. But at least we can entertain and console ourselves with the most belief-beggaring World Cup video ever made: Macy Gray and a bunch of fashion models in high heels and short skirts making their very own World Cup tribute, courtesy of Fashion TV. The England team would fancy their chances with this lot. Although not on the football pitch obviously, because a couple of the girls look quite tasty. Definitely good enough to bamboozle Glen Johnson. And they all look more comfortable with the controversial Jubilani ball than Wayne Rooney. Anyway, for what its worth, I'd pick Defoe.
