Chromeo's Momma's Boy by Stéphane Manel
They've been doing it since the time of the Greeks - wondering about the love between a mother and son. Now we get the French-Canadien take on the Oedipus Complex from Chromeo with stylish help out of Partizan's animation division.
It's very cool, rotoscope-style animation, with that ineffable Gallic feel, from Stéphane Manel from the Paris branch of Partizan Lab.
Stéphane has enjoyed an impressive career as an illustrator, including record sleeves for Sebastien Tellier and Serge Gainsbourg, and this is his first video since signing to Partizan earlier this year.
And he's also in the video somewhere. Nice.
