Rob is performing amid a huge mass of candles - easily mistaken for a huge audience seen from a distance. Each candle represents someone who has passed away, before their time. And then we see some of their faces.&nbsp;The flame theme becomes extended with balls of flame drumming out the beat. It strikes exactly the right note for this heartfelt song.&nbsp; &nbsp;

Jack Whiteley&#39;s new video for Young Fathers presents itself initially as a recognisable sub-genre of the medium - beautifully-shot, tastefully art directed, evocative and &#39;artistic&#39;. And then it begins to strip away at the artifice.Whiteley&#39;s video for In My View is a meta-satire&nbsp;that like others of it&#39;s ilk&nbsp;works on at least a couple of levels - not least in presenting Young Fathers in a fascinating&nbsp;light. It coincides with the announcement of the band&#39;s third album, and makes you want to hear it.&nbsp;

Finally, closure is upon us! Over two months since part one was released, we&#39;re finally treated to the final installment of Eoin Glaister&#39;s trilogy for All We Are.The video for Dance picks up at the breaking of ground for the new much-hated development that the village has spent the last two episodes trying to stop. Now it&#39;s down to the wire and the village has one last hope; a gang of guerilla girl guides. Vandalism and intimidation are all in a day&#39;s work for them but ultimately it proves to be a fruitless endeavour. Sort of.A few twists and turns and some hilarious character moments later and the story reaches some sort of resolution - though probably not the one anybody was expecting. With two trilogies down now, one can only hope Glaister has a third one planned to make 2017 his year of a&nbsp;trilogy of trilogies.

Eoin Glaister returns with part two of his social absurdist trilogy for all we are, and this time; there&#39;s girl scouts.After setting up a quintessentially bizarre village community in part one and the impending motorway-based disaster that&#39;s destined to hit their town, part 2 exists almost entirely within a town hall meeting that very predictably descends into chaos. Packed full of genuine laugh-out-loud moments (the shot of the old woman fake-crying killed me) and some great exaggerated physical performances from the cast, despite being a single location, the plot moves forward nicely and sets up for a tantalising conclusion to a very British problem.

Eoin Glaister can&#39;t get enough of trilogies this year. After a story told over three parts for Aquilo,&nbsp;he&#39;s now directed another one for All We Are.The first part for Human does reveal a different beast from the social realism of Aquilo. Here we&#39;re in mockumentary territory, as a small village in middle England xomes under threat by moronic developers, threatening to build a huge motorway right through the middle of it. &nbsp;Featuring a large comedic cast (holy shit, is that Martin from Green Wing?!) and setting up a series of comedic pins ready to be knocked down in future instalments, the whole thing barrels along thanks to the track - a very pleasant racket indeed.&nbsp;Going to be&nbsp;very interesting to see where this trilogy goes next.

Somebody tie Eoin Glaister to a chair for a few months so that somebody else can have a chance at making music videos. His new clip for Glass Animals proves he&#39;s on top form as ever.The massively surreal clip depicts lovers living on separate floors in a house, who only begin communicating with one another after a misunderstanding with a dog that swallows a TV remote.Reality is skewed and stretched but this bizarre, cartoonish universe is perfectly realized in these two opposing rooms. With added weirdness from the band&#39;s cameo as shopping channel stars and an extended dance sequence involving a 6ft bipedal dog, there&#39;s certainly a lot to digest here besides a TV dinner. And a remote.

The second part of Eoin Glaister&#39;s Silhouettes Trilogy for Aquilo picks up pretty much where part one left off, but where that focussed on the ice-skating champ daughter here the emphasis is on her dedicated and hard-pressed father, played by Perry Benson. And it quickly reveals the reason for the closeness of the father and daughter relationship.Set mostly in a social club&#39;s ballroom class - the video takes a warm direction with some brilliant lighting design to highlight the emotional resonance of the scenario. Again, what would seem normally quite happy is tinged with an air of melancholy and the video again ends on a sombre tone. And Benson is really great here.&nbsp;A wonderfully nuanced exploration of family drama that leaves us wanting part three to come out soon!

Dexter Navy&#39;s epic 12-minute short film for A$AP Rocky is an intense piece of social realism mixed with magic realism - set in London, but with universal resonance.A double video for the tracks Money Man and Put That On My Set, this is an impressionistic take on the thug life, where the drug being dealt are the butterflies that fill the city air. The cast includes&nbsp;actor and screenwriter&nbsp;Said Taghmaoui - from La Haine &ndash; as well as&nbsp;A$AP Nast, Skepta, Section Boyz and Sicilian Tina Kunakey, who plays Said&#39;s precious sister, and the object of Rocky&#39;s affections.Dexter Navy was inspired by seeing a friend&#39;s bags of butterfly wings to jump on the phone to Rocky to convince him that the drugs in the video should be butterflies. Days later Navy was shooting in Ladbroke Grove,&nbsp;transforming that idea into a harrowing, violent, yet visually stunning story.Everything was shot on black and white 16mm Arri (by Pau Castejon), and 16mm Bolex (by Mark Adcock), with visual effects work at Absolute Post - with a brilliant edit by Navy himself.

Lucy Needs&#39; long association with Slow Club - this is her sixth video for the band - has resulted in memorable one-shot star turns&nbsp;with <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2010/04/20/slow-club%E2%80%99s-giving-love-lucy-needs" target="_blank">Mackenzie Crook&nbsp;on Giving Up On Love</a> and <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/news/2012/06/20/slow-club-beginners-lucy-needs" target="_blank">Daniel Radcliffe on Beginners</a>. But her video for Complete Surrender brings an element definitely missing with those projects - glamour.&nbsp;&nbsp;SC&#39;s Charles&nbsp;and Rebecca have been transformed from the Sheffield indie kids of yore&nbsp;into a sophisticated couple &ndash; with&nbsp;Rebecca, in particular, the full-on&nbsp;ravishing beauty and pop video star.There&#39;s excellent photography by DoP Dave Miller, choreography by Francis Angol, to help Lucy Needs achieve a video of style and finesse - and if there&#39;s a tongue in a cheek somewhere, its barely noticeable.It&#39;s also&nbsp;Lucy&#39;s first&nbsp;video produced through Passion RAW, her new home for promos. It&#39;s a very auspicious start.
