Lauren Auder returns with another dazzling performance in Will Reid's video for Meek.&nbsp;In their second collaboration together,&nbsp;Auder sheds the shackles of anxiety and questioning seen in the previous clip for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/01/16/lauren-auder-june-14th-will-reid/62740">June 14th</a>&nbsp;and embraces a more empowered position as narrator, singing&nbsp;about the struggle between innocence and experience.&nbsp;This duality is put into perspective against the large stately home in which the video was shot, and brought to life by two dancers representing a Lamb and a Tiger - this, in part, inspired by the great works of William Blake. It's a coming of age tale rich with colour and impeccable styling, and another vibrant performance from Auder.&nbsp;

Lauren Auder dazzles in Will Reid's video for June 14th,&nbsp;performing a dramatised internal monologue between two lovers.&nbsp;Told through the artist's nuanced theatrical performance, the&nbsp;video builds into a hectic, strobe light-fuelled crescendo as the emotion&nbsp;of one of the characters&nbsp;boils over&nbsp;on screen. The video swells and recedes in time with Auder's emotional state, transitioning through several clever lighting setups that capture the journey through different moods and feelings.&nbsp;“It’s about a first sexual relationship between two characters,” says Auder - but, arguably,&nbsp;that&nbsp;is just scraping the surface. The artist's performance encompasses a gamut&nbsp;of emotion, exploring&nbsp;love in all its forms, physical and spiritual, whilst keeping a subtle and mysterious demeanour.&nbsp;

Adam Barnett’s considered photography alternates between drowsy and dynamic, artfully using shadow and glimmers of light as a thematic and visual motif. This is polished off with a graphic and convincingly filmic grade by the directors, intended to evoke a bygone Hollywood era.A special mention should also go to some flash styling by Joe Taylor, including a spectacular customised Denial suit.
