Directing duo AB/CD/CD directs a mind-bending slice of pop magic for Mae Muller's I Wrote A Song - the UK entry at this year's Eurovision Song Contest.&nbsp;Taking it's lead from the&nbsp;infectious, bouncy vibe of the track the video by the French directing duo takes these qualities and amps them up to a hundred.&nbsp;Featuring a menagerie of glossy studio sets, the video - which was premiered on BBC ONE last Thursday, when the song was announced as Britain's entry to Eurovision - sees Muller lament her cheating ex, as she haunts him on a whimsical journey through dreamlike sets.&nbsp;Experimenting with perspective and a push-and-pull style narrative, it's exactly the kind of eccentric promo that a UK Eurovision entry needs, and is one of the most enjoyable videos of the year so far.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]

Two friends explore hyperactive Tokyo streets in Antoine Bal's enigmatic video for Forget Me Now.&nbsp;As they ride&nbsp;through country landscapes&nbsp;in search of meaning and adventure, the boys stumble across a pair of masks. The unique designs are a symbol of enternal youth in Japanese Noh theatre, allowing the music to give life to the characters as they go on a hallucinatory yet poetic trip around the buzzing city.&nbsp;SUPERNAIVE consists of two brothers – bound by blood and music – who live between Paris and Tokyo. They blend electronic and acoustic music with a unique and delicate touch. This genre hybrid is cleverly translated to the screen by director Antoine Bal, as he mixes traditional photography and light effects with frenetic shots of the action-packed setting.&nbsp;

The impact of school bullying is explored through dance&nbsp;in Daniel Brereton's video for Maëlle's L'Effet de Masse.&nbsp;Opening with a young man&nbsp;being singled out and swarmed by a pack of his spiteful classmates, the concept explores his struggle as he is ruthlessly taunted throughout the school day.&nbsp;Fights are imagined as sprawling choreography in the halls, contrasted against the more intimate turmoil evident in Maëlle's solo&nbsp;performance setup. A tragic shot of an empty table at the end of the video is a sobering and concerning climax which packs an emotional punch.&nbsp;Editor Vincent Fleischmann&nbsp;utilises long takes to allow the choreography to breathe, whilst jump cuts into Maelle's performance provide a fresh yet jarring perspective to the concept.&nbsp;
