Vedran Rupic and&nbsp;Salvatore Ganacci are back with another collaboration and that can only mean one thing - madcap brilliance and outrageous hilarity. So buckle up for a wild ride...When these two names appear in the same sentence, there is a certain level of absurdity one can expect, and the video for Step-Grandma delivers on all fronts. But as with the brilliant videos for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/05/03/salvatore-ganacci-horse-vedran-rupic/58578" target="_blank">Horse</a> and <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/02/18/salvatore-ganacci-ft-sebastien-tellier-boycycle-vedran-rupic/63374" target="_blank">Boycycle</a>, there's more serious stuff, even social commentary going on midst the slapstick comedy, if you want to look for&nbsp;it.&nbsp;And in this one, Salvatore is definitely not the Hero. Like a modern, manically irreverent&nbsp;retelling of a Grimm Brothers' fairy tale, the deadpan Ganacci heads into the woods and observes the house of&nbsp;a forgetful Grandma, guarded with a paper-thin level of security - she takes a look at the photos on her wall to remember who is safe to let in.Ganacci then breaks into Grandma's house, and changes these pictures&nbsp;to photos of himself - via a film camera dropped into his hands by a random squirrel. Then he&nbsp;is welcomed by the confused old lady into her home -&nbsp;but for how long?&nbsp;To say anything else would spoil the surprise...&nbsp;Suffice to say, it's an instant entry to the "best-of" list of the year so far.&nbsp;

By making something even more bonkers.In&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/05/03/salvatore-ganacci-horse-vedran-rupic/58578" target="_blank">Horse</a>, the multi-award winning video that Vedran Rupic directed for&nbsp;Salvatore Ganacci last year, the Italian techno DJ plays a superheroic and highly&nbsp;vengeful saviour of endangered creatures. And it's a work of comedy genius. In new track Boycycle... well, Rupic did not turn a gift horse in the mouth. He transforms Ganacci into a boycycle - half-man, half-motorbike, like a centaur with cylinders.Boycycle is discovered in a rubbish heap by a kindly old man, cleaned up, and nursed back to health. But trouble - emotion and physical -&nbsp;lies ahead for the young lad-cum-bike.With the groove of Boycycle determined by the guest vocal&nbsp;by legendary loverman Sebastien Tellier, Ganacci and Rupic have found a new way to subvert a conventional narrative with their own brand of insanity. In this case, it's a coming-of-age story, where the Boycycle becomes Man-cycle...In fact, Ganacci's transformation into half-chap and half-bike is so weirdly convincing, huge kudos are due to the VFX team at Haymaker in Sweden, whose 3D team are responsible for this tremendous feat.And apart from anything else this gives us all the chance to admire&nbsp;Salvatore's chiselled torso - and perhaps even envy the old man as he rubs Boycycle's front headlight...&nbsp;

Some videos are pretty&nbsp;bonkers, but they're rarely as bonkers as this...It's an absolute gem of absurdity, for&nbsp;DJ Salvatore Ganacci as a maverick crusading animal rights activist,&nbsp;who drives a very large shoe.&nbsp;&nbsp;Perhaps not for you, if you don't like even comedy violence to animals, even fake ones. But pure hilarious joy for everyone else.It's directed by Vedran Rupic, out of the Stockholm-based Business Club Royale, who clearly appreciate the work of their legendary compatriots, Traktor...
