Au/Ra surrenders to a pool of sickly sweet medicine,&nbsp;in this achingly sad chamber piece by Theo Davies.The singer’s hyperreal aesthetic finds a perfect match in&nbsp;DoP Oliver Ford. The gossamer visual&nbsp;was graded in nuclear tones by upcoming colourist Jonny Thorpe, a regular Sophia Ray collaborator who set the tone on Au/Ra’s last visual, <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2018/10/19/aura-emoji-sophia-ray/55559">Emoji</a>.

Emil Nava&#39;s video for Elli Ingram&#39;s Mad Love was nominated at the MVAs last year, and now they get together again, this time&nbsp;in church, for When It Was Dark.And once again Ellie displays a distinctive smouldering charisma to go with her fabulous soulful&nbsp;voice &ndash; and good sexual&nbsp;chemistry with a finely cheekboned and heavily-tattooed man of the cloth.But just as distinctive is the superbly cinematic look of the video courtesy of DoP Patrick Meller&#39;s excellent cinematography. Filmed inside a Georgian church in Maida Vale in West London,&nbsp;Patrick shot this on 35mm anamorphic&nbsp;on an Arri 435. The result is a brilliant&nbsp;richness of image that arguably digital still cannot achieve.And Patrick tells us: &quot;I wish I could shoot on 35mm on every job.&quot;
