Lauren Auder dazzles in Will Reid's video for June 14th,&nbsp;performing a dramatised internal monologue between two lovers.&nbsp;Told through the artist's nuanced theatrical performance, the&nbsp;video builds into a hectic, strobe light-fuelled crescendo as the emotion&nbsp;of one of the characters&nbsp;boils over&nbsp;on screen. The video swells and recedes in time with Auder's emotional state, transitioning through several clever lighting setups that capture the journey through different moods and feelings.&nbsp;“It’s about a first sexual relationship between two characters,” says Auder - but, arguably,&nbsp;that&nbsp;is just scraping the surface. The artist's performance encompasses a gamut&nbsp;of emotion, exploring&nbsp;love in all its forms, physical and spiritual, whilst keeping a subtle and mysterious demeanour.&nbsp;

Having drawn visual comparisons to the likes of FKA twigs and The Blaze for his&nbsp;video for enigmatic band <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2019/03/22/hour-wasted-ben-strebel/57928" target="_blank">The Hour&#39;s Wasted</a>, Ben Strebel makes a remarkable director&rsquo;s cut for their second single Answer.Following the theme of the last film and the band&rsquo;s own distinction, masks are once again used to examine The Hour&rsquo;s belief in the freedom through anonymity. The setting is more controversial than in the Wasted video, with masked community coming to hospital, where one member is giving birth.Of the release, the band state: &ldquo;This video is about choice, or lack of it. It&rsquo;s about the contrasting opinions in the decisions we make for our children and the lasting effect it might have on them.&rdquo;

The Hour 'Answer' by Ben Strebel

Ben Strebel has created a strikingly metaphorical and intensely visceral&nbsp;video for The Hour; a harrowing look at disenfranchised Britain and the exploration of freedom.The film features faceless, masked figures engaging in a dramatic event, which appears ominous and threatening. But Strebel invites the viewer to explore their perceptions, as the lack of sinlge identity is shown to be liberating:&nbsp;&nbsp;no class, no gender, no race, no disability. Everyone is the same, and ultimately a supportive community.The Hour is a collective of anonymous artists who themselves wear masks when performing live on stage, allowing the group to change freely over time. The mask is about being free and equal, also captured in Strebel&rsquo;s film.&nbsp;He explains:&nbsp;&ldquo;I wanted to examine the almost utopian idea of anonymity in the face of a society crazed by nihilism (social media driving us to extreme antisocial behaviour and mental illness).&rdquo; &nbsp;&nbsp;

It's a lovely, simple visual to complement the song, following a few characters as they face daily life's trials and tribulations.An elderly man struggles through physical therapy while his worried grandson observes him. A skateboarder challenges himself with a big jump that he can't quite manage to land. A woman gets in her car but can't get the engine to start.But as the video goes on, they all manage to&nbsp;face their troubles head on, with the&nbsp;hopeful&nbsp;song serving&nbsp;as a strong&nbsp;driving force, encouraging them to persevere.&nbsp;
