Creative film production company driven by a passion to create something memorable. Based in Helsinki. In 2009 the company was formed by filmmakers Henna Välkky &amp; Samuel Häkkinen. Quickly the creative designer and animator Eesu Lehtola with advertising industry background joined in. Ever since our extended family of freelance professionals and artistic collaborators has been growing steadily. Together with Lehtola&#039;s design company Visual Kult we can offer agencies and brand clients film &amp; animation productions from start to finish using our storytelling skills rooted in filmmaking and tap into our awareness of current and future trends in the ever changing world of branding and communications. We also develop and produce moving content independently and in partnership with other production companies as well as offer production services, equipment rental and even a small studio. Based in Helsinki, but working worldwide we provide our services to domestic and foreign clients alike.

Finnish directors&nbsp;Henna Välkky and Samuel Häkkinen direct a slick, hyper-vibrant promo for Finland-based American performer Chachi.&nbsp;The video for Cherry Cake was created with all in-camera effects - no post production aside from basic colour correction - an approach that's reflected on-screen&nbsp;with a feverish amalgam of hallucinatory textures, live feedback loops and geometric art direction.&nbsp;"The main inspiration for the video was Chachi’s incredible dancing and energetic personality," explain&nbsp;Välkky and Häkkinen.&nbsp;"We wanted the visuals to frame this front and centre, but in an interesting and stylish way."We’ve always loved experimenting with in-camera effects and lo-fi analog video art. With the virtual studio background and the opportunity to build bigger set pieces, we went all in with a huge mirror plated kaleidoscope as the main set for the video."With Chachi dancing inside the kaleidoscope, we filled the background with abstract animations and sometimes feeding the live image from the camera back to the screen, creating an infinite video loop. We also had another camera, a retro MiniDV camcorder that we used to shoot Chachi from a different angle. Then we fed that footage behind her inside an old school television frame."

Directors&nbsp;Samuel Häkkinen &amp; Henna Välkky pay homage to the film&nbsp;Koyaanisqatsi, in the video for Finnish band Olpekkalev's Poluton Maa.&nbsp;Featuring hectic cities, dark alleyways and vast deserts, the video was shot over two years across four continents.&nbsp;It was made as a constant side project during work trips and holidays to New York, The Sahara, Italy and Japan.Otherworldy and surreal, the visual is a perfect accompaniment&nbsp;to the haunting track. While the footage of cities packed with people feels particularly&nbsp;resonant, even poignant, during the pandemic crisis.&nbsp;

The music video for Finnish singer-songwriter artist Kasper&rsquo;s track Taas Tuntemaan&nbsp;is&nbsp;a solemn&nbsp;compilation of&nbsp;moments in the lives of multiple characters, who&nbsp;all join together in a mysterious meeting.It may be a bit confusing, as the viewer tries to piece together all the strange goins-on, but remains visually aesthetic throughout, with&nbsp;the action filmed to&nbsp;match the 4:3 frame.&nbsp;The video was directed by Samuel Häkkinen, the style and poetic&nbsp;tones&nbsp;drawing&nbsp; inspiration from masters of cinema like Andrei Tarkovsky and David Lynch.The video took almost a year to make, as it was first and foremost considered an art project, and was&nbsp;visually stylized and shot by DoP Janne Häkkinen and the acclaimed cinematographer Arsen Sarkisiants, who&rsquo;s latest short film The Tiger&nbsp;was picked up by The Cannes Film Festival&rsquo;s La Semaine De La Critique last year.
