Master Peace goes to the dogs,&nbsp;in&nbsp;Freddie Cattaneo's entertaining promo for&nbsp;I Might Be Fake.He's a fish out of water, and possibly getting lured onto someone else's hook, when Master Peace joins old school working class Londoners at their leisure, at a greyhound race meeting, in scenes reminiscent of those&nbsp;Guy Ritchie movies.&nbsp;"I Might Be Fake is about pretending to be something that you’re not," says Cattaneo.&nbsp;"As such I wanted to place Master Peace in an unfamiliar world which he can only navigate by using deceit."The infamous, controversial world of greyhound racing seemed fitting as it’s associated with white, working class Britain and also offered the prospect of Master Peace being tipped off on fixed races. Jocelyn Anquetil directs a whimsical promo for the return of Archie Marshall, aka King Krule.&nbsp;The video for Seaforth opens with a montage of sleeping faces, including Marshall's own, before the illusory setting is washed away in a dusty haze. There is the dreamlike sensibility of a number of previous, supercool King Krule clips - but what follows in Seaforth is a definite sea-change.From Archie pondering the world on a sandy beach and in his country cottage, the focus switches to two Labrador dogs - mother and cute puppy -&nbsp;and their encounters with the human world. And the absurdity of it - cute pets in a King Krule vieo - is what makes the&nbsp;viewing experience so fun.&nbsp;Shot in&nbsp;both HD and lo-fi Mini DV, the video has a random, nostalgic aesthetic, and makes very good use of dog footage. Kassandra Powell directs an absorbing comeback promo for Bimini, which shows that you can find glamour in the most unlikely places.&nbsp;The&nbsp;video for Rodeo opens with Bimini on a mechanical bull, shining bright as lights refract from the&nbsp;abundance of reflective monochromatic textures.&nbsp;Quickly bringing the concept back down to Earth, we realise this whole setup is in a typical British pub, and the punters are as about as apathetic to Bimini's performance as they come. But whilst most glare&nbsp;disapprovingly as Bimini continues to do her thing, one character breaks out of their passive state to get absorbed into the otherworldly trance of the music.&nbsp;The contrast of glossy pop concept and&nbsp;stoic public is a brilliant visual dynamic, and DoP&nbsp;Luke Dryden's cinematography captures the perfect balance of these two opposing styles.[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]

Hector Dockrill directs a heartwrenching promo for new Lewis Capaldi track Pointless.&nbsp;The narrative for the video captures a mother-son relationship with beautiful and heart-breaking intimacy. Spanning a couple of decades, the concept follows a&nbsp;single mother who strives against all odds to give her son the life she never had, and is packed with an emotional punch.&nbsp;With a wonderful performance&nbsp;from&nbsp;BAFTA winner Niamh Algar (The Virtues, Raised by Wolves)&nbsp;and three actors playing the son at different stages of his life - including Charley Palmer-Rothwell as her grown-up son -&nbsp;the video reinterprets the song's lyrics to explore a different type of relationship, and it works perfectly.[imgtoken data:1]The naturalistic cinematography and relatable themes help make the video feel incredibly realistic and universal, and it will no doubt have viewers thinking about their own loved ones as we enter the festive period.&nbsp;With mixed dialogue throughout, we both hear and see glimpses into the ups and downs of their daily lives over the years including financial hardship and the tightrope of being a working single parent. And in keeping with the theme of family, Laura Dockrill – Hector’s sister - wrote the script, making this a family affair both on and off screen.“Lewis had a beautiful idea that focused on the mother/son bond, and how responsibility shifts as you grow older," says Hector Dockrill. "Niamh Algar is a phenomenal talent and we’re already chomping at the bit to work together again. With only a week’s prep, she managed to immerse herself into the role and completely make it her own. This is definitely a special film that everybody can connect with – a shout out to every mother.”
