Knucks and&nbsp;Kwengface take centre stage in Dir. Lx's compelling promo for Lucious.&nbsp;Navigating the world of paparazzi and relentless media attention, we see the artists surrounded by middle men and journalists, whilst they try and move through their day-to-day lives with as little disruption as possible.&nbsp;Though left purposefully abstract in terms of narrative, the video packs in lots of references - including a slick nod to Pulp Fiction and The Dark Knight - whilst weaving Lx's signature style into every frame.&nbsp;The video is anchored by strong performances and engaging vignettes, which work just as well as standalones as they do part of the larger visual world.&nbsp;

Dir. Lx's third video for Knucks' new album Alpha Place is a slick, stylish, movie-referencing&nbsp;affair for the track Die Hard - featuring Stormzy.Not surprisingly considering its title, the video pays homage to the classic Bruce Willis-starring actioner - with Knucks donning a singlet to crawl through an air vent. But there are nods to a few other cult&nbsp;movies besides - including American Psycho, Bad Boys and Seven.[imgtoken data:1]Lx utilizes numerous toys in his mission to create a sophisticated visual for this excellent track, and ultimately this is a great showcase for the easy charisma and charm of both featured artists. Knucks and Stormzy look cool, calm and collected throughout.But the video does finish&nbsp;on a poignant note, with a visual tribute to the late Jamal Edwards, founder of SBTV and music entrepreneur who died in February, aged just 31. He was such an important figure to a lot of people, including Knucks and Stormzy - and also to&nbsp;Lx, who began his career at SBTV, where he met some of the artists that have become key collaborators in his career to date.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Dir. Lx directs a gripping promo for Knucks, the first chapter in a trilogy of videos between the director and artist.&nbsp;The video for Leon The Professional - which takes its name from Luc Besson's classic 1994 movie&nbsp;- tells the story&nbsp;of a young hitman making a name for himself, whilst&nbsp;a case is being built against him.Throughout the course of the video we watch time run out for Leon, ultimately leading to a bloody confrontation with the officer tracking him.The enigmatic vignettes feature a blend of fiction and documentary aesthetics, which lend&nbsp;a sense of realism and raw energy to the concept.&nbsp;The chase scenes create a feeling of unease, balanced with a quick-cut edit that keeps up the tension and excitement throughout.&nbsp;

The second&nbsp;of a trilogy of videos by Dir. Lx for Knucks is a dive into his and co-star SL's lives on their respective London estates, told partly in split-screen.In each case, Knucks and SL's journeys through their homeground mirror each other, with Lx matching&nbsp;the fast flow of their performances through the motion of the camera&nbsp;and a superb edit, together with the split-screen device.Lx also introduces a narrative aspect to the performance, and with his trademark use of stills and titles, this adds to another level to proceedings. It takes you right to the heart of the action.
