On a very crisp and sunny spring morning, the Fenixx duo, Matthew Connell and Matthew Hoare ventured over to the Barbican in the City of London, with their team, to shoot SLK's first music video.

Already compared to the likes of Sampha and Jessie Ware, SLK makes her debut on screen appearance, mixing video formats, in her first music video for the much anticipated track Be.
 

MATTHEW CONNELL:

"Our approach to this video was very simple. This introduction to SLK did not need a video layered with over complex visuals, or a twisting story. We utilised the great colour range within buildings based in and around Barbican as a fitting space for a intimate performance by SLK.

"The beautifully shy onscreen chemistry from our two models, Amber and Josh (who are a genuine couple) fitted perfectly on screen with tales of new relationships pouring from within the track Be.'
