In fact, she is so forceful, that the POV is always trying to take evasive action, even leaping from a motel balcony, taking refuge&nbsp;in a car (while she smashes the windscreen) and&nbsp;running away to open countryside when she storms out of a police car&nbsp;for another confrontation.It's a cool way to visualise&nbsp;the rollercoaster emotions of a relationship through action-packed, horror-tinged vignettes. The second of a trio of videos for Jazzy by multidisciplinary artist-turned-director Erik He finds the Irish DJ/producer in a cool bar crowded with invisible people - apart from one furious-looking older lady - and then on a dancefloor, packed with real people.Following on from the video for On A Wave (Jazzy's collab with East End Dubs), Erik He's&nbsp;video for Invisible (her collab with Chris Lorenzo) has similarly stylish, designer-led aesthetic with an&nbsp;additional side order of surrealism and subtle VFX - but this one brings Jazzy more centre-stage, to deliver her vocal performance.The&nbsp;end result looks absolutely great and demands you sit up and take notice of both the artist and the director.With a background in art practice spanning&nbsp;sculpture, performance and moving image, under He's direction&nbsp;ordinary social spaces become subtly uncanny, as anonymous, headless figures populate the frame, transforming familiar environments into psychological landscapes.Rather than relying on spectacle, restrained visual effects, atmospheric lighting, and carefully composed imagery create a world that reflects the song's emotional undercurrent, balancing performance with understated surrealism.It's another example of the skill and instinct that the director, who recently signed to Partizan, brings to the medium. One aspect is in providing an intriguing&nbsp;showcase for the artist and her music, giving her every chance&nbsp;to make a big step forward. And as there is a third one on its way, for Jazzy's with Calvin Harris, that next step seems virtually guaranteed.&nbsp;&nbsp;"Working with Jazzy and her team has been incredibly rewarding," he says about the collaboration.&nbsp;"Every project presented a different creative challenge, but there was always a shared willingness to experiment and find the best solution. Jake Erland joins forces with co-director ABOVEGROUND for a richly cinematic new music video for beabadoobee's team-up with American alt-rock band The Marías.The video for All I Did Was Dream Of You showcases Bea moving through a series of dreamlike vignettes in a variety of wintry&nbsp;settings, culminating in&nbsp;a spectacular moment&nbsp;of her car flipping and exploding into flames.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Shot in sub-zero weather conditions in Vilnius, Lithuania, the story unfolds&nbsp;across a frozen lake off a decommissioned nuclear power plant, snow-laden forests, a tiny bar on the outskirts of town, and a local produce market. The pivotal scene, when the car flips over and explodes, was captured entirely in-camera.This is the sixth music video collaboration between&nbsp;Bea and Jake Erland, following the videos created for the 2024 album This Is How Tomorrow Moves. It also represents a radical departure in cinematic ambition in their creative partnership. British-Punjabi musical disruptor&nbsp;Raf-Saperra's infectious pop track Step Out has inspired&nbsp;a suitably vibrant visual by directing duo Amir Hossain and Soren Harrison - aka Bedroom - and Avleen Kaur that playfully crosses cultural borders.Reflecting his contemporary take on South Asian music that&nbsp;blends western music styles with traditional Punjabi singing, it's&nbsp;an intoxicating mix of East and West in one colourful and cartoon-like&nbsp;package. Raf pops into the beauty salon to celebrate the girls (of all ages) as they prepare&nbsp;for a big night out.&nbsp;Then he becomes the model in a fashion magazine&nbsp;wearing some outlandish clothes, but charming his fellow model - the girl&nbsp;from the salon. He's also&nbsp;the guy in the magazine ad for Fatboy breakfast cereal, before becoming a boxer in the ring and appearing at his press conference, where his favourite girl turns up as his interviewer.&nbsp; &nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]For Amir Hossain, one half of the Bedroom project, this was an important opportunity to articulate the blurred lines between his South Asian and British heritage and what that means to his directorial work. It marks a&nbsp;bucket list moment for the director and stands out as one of the director's strongest videos to date."For me, Step Out was just as much about pushing representation as it was about pushing culture," he says. "Growing up South Asian, you’re often boxed in, caught between tradition and perception. There aren’t many people who look like me breaking into these new spaces or showcasing that we can play in the same field as everyone else."With this video, I wanted to show a more layered identity: bold, modern, unapologetically brown. Something that breaks away from the stereotypes and can stand shoulder to shoulder with the work that’s always inspired me."Soren Harrison adds: "There are boundaries to be pushed in South Asian culture right now and the response we have gotten with the video shows us how important it is to be broadening the cultural limits.
