Vasilisa Forbes explores overconsumption and excess in her satirical promo for retro power-popsters Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard.&nbsp;If you've never seen a singer&nbsp;force-fed junk food whilst being pinned down by sugary snacks, buckle up, you're in for a treat.&nbsp;Drowning in this sea of garbage and waste, we see the alternative indie group in a series of vibrant vignettes, shot in a mesmerisingly surreal fashion - with plenty of wide-angle lenses and awkward angles to elevate this effect.&nbsp;Forbes plays on the themes of the track by creating a literal world that echoes the issues staring us dead in the face, and does so in a tongue-in-cheek yet lamenting manner.[imgtoken data:1]&nbsp;

Ethan + Tom put Shrink under the spotlight in their second video for the London singer-songwriter&nbsp;fka producer Vasser, aka Sam Breathwick.While Ethan Barratt and Tom Gullum's video for <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Muqb8Dzmdxk&amp;feature=emb_title">Drowning</a> kept Shrink virtually&nbsp;anomymous, picking him out in thermal-cam, Cut You Loose is more intimate and tender, with moments of black comedy. And when the spotlight falls upon Shrink he is likely to befall a difficult moment - and painful pratfall.These metaphorical situations revolve around a sense of home, which is a place where Shrink is both comfortable but also close to surreal levels of danger. Riding a bicycle at night leads to a dramatic crash, and him becoming&nbsp;lost in memories leads to deeper&nbsp;water that&nbsp;threatens to overwhelm him.Shot on an iPhone, the directors' visual signature is expressed through the suspenseful&nbsp;concept and instinctively musical edit. When that spotlight starts bouncing around in time to the drums you know there's trouble coming.

Fox-hunting is reimagined as a dystopian game targeting society's outcasts in James Green's&nbsp;thoroughly entertaining video for Kid Kapichi.&nbsp;Picked on by pompous locals as "thugs", the band,&nbsp;dressed in orange bomber jackets and jeans, are then targeted by the local hunt. And one of them ends up as the captive of the demented lord of the manor - played by Steve Furst.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.jamesgreenfilm.com/" target="_blank">James Green</a> strikes a tone of broad&nbsp;comedy, dressed in&nbsp;a&nbsp;retro, B-Movie aesthetic. But there is a political edge that&nbsp;nails the political zeitgeist in modern Britain. It's about the&nbsp;divide between rich and poor, old and young, and the rising tide of closed minds and bigotry. But as it turns out, help is at hand...&nbsp;Action-packed, well performed and with a very satisfying conclusion, the concept brings Kid Kapichi's rallying-cry&nbsp;lyrics to life, and demands to&nbsp;be watched multiple times.That&nbsp;is especially&nbsp;impressive, as Green says: "We pulled this video together in record time with a low budget, shooting on the British coast during Storm Ciara.
