His journey to the top of a Southampton multi-storey car park takes him past the bandmembers who are narrating his imminent demise. &nbsp;

An atmospheric midnight swim becomes a synchronised thing of beauty in Seramic&#39;s I Got You by the director known only as Yagaboo.Sumptuous&nbsp;nighttime and underwater cinematography make for an excellent dance film that just happens to take place at the bottom of a swimming pool. Choreographed to perfection and complete with mind-bending shifts in perspective. Whoever this Yagaboo&nbsp;character is, they know&nbsp;visuals.

Southampton&nbsp;punk band&nbsp;Creeper have released a first in a trilogy of videos for their track Hiding With Boys, a haunting vision directed by Jamie Carter.Our troubled protagonist is a middle-aged man, haunted by demons visible to him for mere seconds before dissapearing out of sight - but not out of mind. The unnerving sight pushes him to investigate demonic sightings in the local area of Southampton, trying to make sense of what he sees. He collects all the&nbsp;articles and snapshots hoping it might jog his memory or lead to some sort of epiphany &ndash; but for now we will have to wait and see...

Jake Jelicich has put together these dreamlike, neon-tinged visuals for York singer-songwriter&nbsp;Benjamin Francis Leftwich&#39;s track&nbsp;Mayflies.&nbsp;Taking place in a heavily-draped, intimate space, the video captures young people in a woozy hangout, kissing under vastly different coloured rays of light.Instead of following a lead character, the clip cycles through various insert shots of couples together -&nbsp;lit up by projected visuals - as well as portraits of the attendees, captured with winding Dutch angles.&nbsp;

Daniel Brereton serves up a surprise for&nbsp;Gorgon City&#39;s team-up with&nbsp;Blythe Pepino from Vaults.&nbsp;For all his&nbsp;experience, he&#39;s not a&nbsp;director well known for narrative work for mainstream dance acts. And this is a narrative video with a familiar storyline, about&nbsp;two teenagers sneaking out for a night on the town together.But Brereton has given this&nbsp;scenario his own distinctive stamp, particularly with the casting of two young leads who have the individuality and&nbsp;chemistry that makes their adventure worth watching. And if&nbsp;he&#39;s a director best known for his quirky work for alternative acts, the quirkiness here just serves to make it more believable and human.&nbsp;

Following up the artful symbolism of&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/04/21/will-young-river-wiz">Like A River</a>, WIZ&#39;s&nbsp;video for Will Young&#39;s Brave Man follows a young man as he calmly sets out on a outstanding act of bold defiance. He takes his clothes off in a pub, and walks naked through an English&nbsp;seaside town - his courage magnified by the fact he is a transgender individual.As he walks naked and vulnerable through Brighton&#39;s dark and windy streets, he is targeted by&nbsp;snarky girls&nbsp;and chipshop bullies.&nbsp;The video works by displaying this extraordinary act in a real, almost low-key environment.&nbsp;All the better to draw the viewer in to reflect upon&nbsp;the huge&nbsp;uphill battle of trans people - among the most discriminated minorites in society &ndash;&nbsp;who are demanding acceptance for who they are.The narrative is punctuated occasionally by the mournful presence of Will Young. He has less screen time than in any of his previous videos, but Brave Man may prove to be his most influential, in drawing <a href="http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/oct/20/brave-man-video-trans-transgender-jack-monroe" target="_blank">media&nbsp;attention</a> to an important&nbsp;issue. Courtney Barnett&#39;s appearance&nbsp;in London during her tour provided an excellent opportunity for Jon White to capture this pop-up performance outside Camden Town tube station on August 17th 2015, for her track&nbsp;Nobody Really Cares If You Don&#39;t Go To The Party.With four camera operators on crew, White&nbsp;definitely got his&nbsp;bases covered in terms of varied viewpoints on the whole affair, giving editor Katie Walters lots of&nbsp;footage to choose from&nbsp;for a rythmic edit to follow the track. So high fives all round that this has been turned around and released in a matter of days.

Bristol-based duo Icarus get their name from a character in&nbsp;Greek mythology who took to the air, but Ben Strebel references another Greek hero for his video&nbsp;for their Don&#39;t Cry Wolf. Shot in Folkestone, Kent, it follows the story of a young&nbsp;fisherman&nbsp;whose&nbsp;banal routine is disrupted when he finds a naked young woman on the beach.In Homer&#39;s Iliad,&nbsp;Ulysses orders his men to tie him to the mast&nbsp;of his ship so that he could listen to the sirens&#39; (more commonly known as mermaids)&nbsp;song without being tempted to jump towards them to his death. And sure enough, upon hearing the sweet, deadly calls,&nbsp;Ulysses is driven temporarily&nbsp;insane and tries to break free.&nbsp;And we discover that the girl the boy finds&nbsp;holds a similar disorientating effect on him. Even in gritty real life settings, Strebel communicates the mystery, intimacy and unearthly&nbsp;seductive power of the mermaid.

From Paris/Montreal-based directing collective&nbsp;Dent de Cuir - creators of the brilliant video for DyE&#39;s She&#39;s Bad last year &ndash;&nbsp;now comes&nbsp;this&nbsp;stunning video for Darwin Deez&#39;s&nbsp;Kill Your Attitude, the hotly anticipated&nbsp;first release from the indie pop songsmith&#39;s new album.Inspired by the song&rsquo;s&nbsp;lyrical theme of &ldquo;love is war&rdquo;, the video has been turned into an absolute visual&nbsp;masterpiece, in which Darwin is unknowingly immersed in a &#39;first person shooter&#39; game&nbsp;arena.Our hapless hero finds himself being hunted down by his better half for all those small things you&nbsp;do in a relationship that start to annoy: hogging the duvet cover, emptying the fridge, ever buying food, and not doing&nbsp;the washing up...To achieve this Dent De Cuir and Ruffian Post constructed an original&nbsp;video game world for Darwin to be dropped into. It&#39;s&nbsp;almost certainly the first time this has been done in a pop&nbsp;video - and Dent de Cuir explain below how it was done.&nbsp;
