Bryson Tiller tries to turn back the clock in Rohan Blair-Mangat's&nbsp;emotive video for Right My Wrongs.&nbsp;The video was made to coincide with the re-release of&nbsp;Tiller's debut album, and depicts the artist enjoying success and apparent harmony with his partner - played by Jordan Coleman - but there is something else going on here.&nbsp;Intermixing documentary-style footage and stills&nbsp;with polished narrative setups, the blurred boundaries between real life and fantasy bleed into the overall aesthetic, resulting in a piece that slowly reveals its purpose.&nbsp;&nbsp;The&nbsp;use of subtitles to represent the characters' innermost thoughts&nbsp;- as opposed to their spoken words - creates an extra layer of depth to the story, that ultimately reveals itself as a&nbsp;story about the&nbsp;reality, and the downside, of&nbsp;escalating success - the hidden woes of fame.&nbsp;

Legendary rapper Nas addresses the reality of life in the USA for&nbsp;African-Americans today&nbsp;in Rohan&nbsp;Blair-Mangat&#39;s powerful 16 minute film showcasing&nbsp;several tracks from the Kanye West-produced album Nasir,&nbsp;released earlier this year.Blair-Mangat&#39;s film is epic and impressionistic in its scope, employing drama, documentary, and news and archive footage,&nbsp;as well as Nas&#39;s performances, to create a multi-layered visual interpretation of seven songs from the album. But it&#39;s the&nbsp;theme of black identity and culture, under constant threat of&nbsp;police brutality, that is the constant seam that runs through everything, culminating in the dramatisation of a modern tragedy.Written and directed by Mangat, shot in New York by Nicholas Bupp, and graded by Ricky Gausis, Nasir - The Film is beautifully articulated expression of righteous anger.&nbsp;

Rohan Blair-Mangat paints a picture of Jamaican art and culture in this short documentary-style clip for Jay-Z.Bam&nbsp;sees Damian Marley give Jay-Z a tour of the music culture of his homeland in this beautifully shot portrait film - including a visit to Tuff Gong, the legendary Kingston-based studio where his father Bob recorded his albums.&nbsp;Mixing candid shots, interviews and more composed and choreographed moments, the promo sees Jay-Z continue his recent prolific output while also testing the boundaries of the music video format. The narrative is compelling and whilst the song soimetimes takes a back seat, the audience is gaining a deeper understanding of its roots. &nbsp;

PAULi manifests in several incarnations in Rohan Blair-Mangat&#39;s video for The Idea Of Tomorrow.It begins with the unmistakeable voice of Idris Elba reading a poem that serves as an introduction to the visuals that follow, in which PAULi performs snatches of different songs in various guises. At the start, he&#39;s&nbsp;a parachutist hung from a lamppost, before becoming a cyclist with wings roaming the streets and finally&nbsp;playing keyboards on a rooftop.And throughout, Blair-Mangat intermittently reveals another PAULi character,&nbsp;who lives in the smoke-filled forest, with the girl of his dreams. The whole effect is dreamlike and evocative, and a fine showcase for an intriguing new artist.&nbsp;&nbsp;
