Teen pop singer Keelie Walker teams up with&nbsp;Gregg Houston for this studio performance of&nbsp;her song Not You.Walker performs the song nonchalantly, in front of a series of backgrounds and environments, while the simple choreography is almost trance-like. That gives&nbsp;an otherworldly vibe to the entire visual.Occasional zoom shots on the "Not You" lyrics are also effective. Lucky that's the case, as the zoom lens reportedly weighed about as much as the small crew.A nice video that keeps things simple and authentic, and&nbsp;is all the better for it.&nbsp;

Veteran rock &#39;n roll rebel&nbsp;Peter Perrett&#39;s lacerating critique-cum-love letter addressed to the USA now has a great visual accompaniment directed by Focus Creeps which revels in its old school video aesthetic.Shot on 16mm, bursting with colour, and with the Perrett performance in East London supplemented by the judicious use of stock footage, How The West Was Won has the weight and the gorgeous look of a Nineties video by Peter Care made on fifty times the budget.&nbsp;In a way this seems an unlikely approach for Perrett, with his ghoulish look and leery vocals, but it works a treat. There&#39;s great work here by a crew including DoP Nick Morris, editor Megan Thorne, and colourist Joseph Bicknell, in a video that displays the collective effort of videomaking on its sleeve. But the biggest props go to Focus Creeps for the bold vision.

Michael Baldwin has captured singer Andy Brown&#39;s&nbsp;touching wedding proposal - in the form of a music video - for his band&nbsp;Lawson&#39;s song Where My Love Goes.Handsomely shot by two camera crews, the video features the band playing in a church,&nbsp;performing the romantic ballad while Joey - Andy&#39;s&nbsp;unsuspecting girlfriend - takes pictures. Then, towards the end of the song, some&nbsp;lovely lighting signage in cursive is&nbsp;revealed,&nbsp;asking for her hand in marriage. (Aww.)The heartwarming little video was elegantly pulled off through plenty of planning,&nbsp;as Michael Baldwin&nbsp;explains:&nbsp;&quot;Andy wanted to capture the surprise of the proposal in-camera so we had to plan the day like a wedding itself to make sure we didn&#39;t blow our &#39;cover.&#39;&nbsp;I didn&#39;t want to be responsible for messing up his moment! It all went according to plan (phew) and I think the emotion of the day -&nbsp;and relief -&nbsp;was captured in the final video.&quot;

"I'm trying to bring back the idea of dancing as a transcendental act, where the discipline represents an emotional life beyond the merely hedonistic," explains Ferry. "Northern soul is the closest thing to this. We tried really hard to approach it cinematically, and avoid doing a retro pastiche."

Italian director Maurizio Zappettini&rsquo;s video for electro-rock outfit Bazooka is an atmospheric affair with a classic Brit-film look, partly filmed (aptly enough) at an old school.Maurizio was inspired by videos from the &#39;90s - it&#39;s shot on good old Super 16mm, by Joe Dyer - and it also saves the best till last. This has a genuinely scary monster. Yikes.
