Alexandre Do directs a reflective promo for rapper Jianbo, which follows an old man, whose memories of his late wife keep him going.&nbsp;From the man's daily routine as a busy cook through to dreaming about a jazz club he and his late wife used to frequent, the video for Exhale (Point Hill) blends narrative, performance and dance to create something singular and perfectly suited to the track. &nbsp; &nbsp;Beautifully shot and conceptualised,&nbsp;it's a touching story brought to life masterfully by Alexandre Do and team.&nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]"Hearing Exhale for the first time, I knew right away it was special," says the director.&nbsp;"From this moment it wasn’t just about making a cool video, it was about making a beautiful piece of film."The song’s dedicated to Jianbo’s late friend Dom, whose guitar is sampled throughout. I wanted to stay true to that emotional core, so I kept writing until I hit something personal, pulling from my own family, my partner, a memory of seeing a picture of my dad and his friends fresh from Cambodia in the ’70s wearing flared pants. When I first wrote it, I kept thinking of Up’s opening montage and Michael Haneke’s Amour."This film is really about grief, longing, and those moments when you wish you could see someone you love one last time. Jianbo really showed up: learning the dance routine, pushing himself emotionally, and bringing out a side of himself we hadn’t seen in his past videos."

Pedro Takahashi directs a&nbsp;riotous promo for Glasgow punk band Humour.&nbsp;The video for Neighbours explores the surreality of suburbia, opening on a miniature set, before diving into the living room of a terraced house where the band are performing - at full volume. And someone is banging on the front door - quite possibly the neighbours.&nbsp;Imbued with a grungy, textural aesthetic, the video is cinematic, atmospheric and band-focussed. With excellent cinematography by Max Conran, it's packed with strange camera angles, as the mystery deepens as to who is&nbsp;trying to get into the house.&nbsp;Paranoid and claustrophobic, enhanced by Geri Docherty's intense edit,&nbsp;it's a stirring video smoothly&nbsp;aligned with the unruly track.&nbsp;

Sugababes are back with an instant classic, and a very slick promo from&nbsp;Dora Paphides.The video for Jungle finds the trio in a vast office space, where a menagerie of artistic vignettes unfold.&nbsp;Switching up between performance, choreography and abstract cutaways, it has all the markers of a classic Sugababes video, filtered through a mature, contemporary lens."I think I approached this video from a fan perspective," explains Paphides.&nbsp;"I’ve loved the Sugababes forever so this was an instinctive thing to do. I sort of thought, what would get me excited watching a new Sugababes video, and led with that instinct."The concept was an editorial/pop take on day and night. I wanted to create this sense of night time and things aren’t what they seem at night.&nbsp; This translated into these office scenes, where the band slowly break out and enter the rave. Blink, and you might miss something. I wanted to create this sense of being in the dark and misinterpreting something you’ve seen. Or being drunk and trying to remember what happened."I looked a lot at Kito Munoz’s work, previous Prada and Rick Owens campaigns...
