Pregoblin's Alex Sebley&nbsp;goes on a leisurely trip to La Rochelle in France&nbsp;with none other than Pete Doherty, in Niall Trask's breezy promo for the former Fat White Family collaborator's new project.&nbsp;Doherty took time out of his busy schedule of touring and recording with The Libertines and touring with French songwriter/producer Frederic Lo, to contribute vocals to These Hands AKA Danny The Knife, with the lyrical content of the song focussing on themes of loneliness and a lack of fulfilment.Backdropped by beautiful coastal views, the video plays out like a joyous&nbsp;buddy road trip, and if you didn't know better, this could be any pair of friends going about their holiday - and that's the beauty of the video.[imgtoken data:1]"Budget allowed us: 800ft of film, two returns to La Rochelle, an Airbnb and 24 hours in La Rochelle," explains Trask. "With no producer, I felt like my year 7 teacher on the South of France trip, trying to herd Peter Doherty and Alex Sebley around town whilst keeping them out of trouble."‘Be cool and don’t sound too bossy in front of Pete Doherty’ I thought to myself as I hurried him to finish his coffee as we lost daylight."Small fact: On my year 7 trip I smuggled a flick-knife in a pair of swimming trunks I was wearing under my shorts, praying that the blade wouldn’t unleash in my trunks as I waddled past the makeshift teacher security that were searching all the boys, finding fire crackers and BB guns."

Yago Hunt-Laudi directs a mesmerising multi-format promo for Easy Life and Gus Dapperton.Combining beautiful cinematography and analogue textures - including charcoal, pastel, tape, and paper printouts - the video sees the artists travelling around in an ice cream van, interspersed with an amalgam of vintage imagery and abstract cutaways.&nbsp;The DIY, zine-like aesthetic&nbsp;of the cutaways contrasts with the slick setups in the truck and on the roof, creating a timeless vibe and plenty of details to catch on a second or third watch.&nbsp;

Sam Ryder, the UK's impressive runner-up at this year's Eurovision Song Contest with Spaceman, returns to action with another irrepressible performance in Alex Southam's celebratory song-and-dance production for Somebody.For the unapologetically sunny track, Southam puts his own spin upon a great tradition of videos that have reimagined the old-school Hollywood musical. And that turns out to be&nbsp;pretty much the ideal vehicle for&nbsp;Ryder's larger-than-life persona.In a picture-perfect European city, Ryder&nbsp;bounces through main street, finding dance partners at the café and cinema, launching himself from a scissor lift,&nbsp;and stopping off for a quick snip at the barbers before multiplying before our eyes in his big finale. He busts some unfeasible moves in a various ways&nbsp;that recall those classic Spike Jonze videos for Bjork's Oh So Quiet and Fatboy Slim's Weapon Of Choice. And finally director and artist put there own playful twist on the classic Texas Switch.[imgtoken data:1]"The brief for the video came with a few buzz words - fun, quirky, sunny, bright, bold and joyful - and so that's exactly the sort of video we set out to make," explains Southam.&nbsp;"A handful of film references were shared,&nbsp;one of which is probably glaringly apparent in the final video. But we wanted to up the ante and make it feel super-playful - with it's tongue firmly wedged in its cheek - so that's when the use of doubles and the Texas Switch came into play."The video was filmed in Belgrade, on what Southam describes as "one of the most bonkers backlots I've ever seen." It was also in the middle&nbsp;of the extreme heatwave that has scorched Europe this summer, but "we had an absolute blast making it," he says."I want to call out DoP Murren Tullett’s stellar work and Jay Revell on choreography duty - those boys came correct. But to be fair everyone smashed it.&nbsp;I'm still gutted we didn’t get to use the jet-ski set-up - but I did throw a man off a scissor lift, so its all swings and roundabouts."As for Sam Ryder, can he really be as unfeasibly cheerful as he seems? "Sam is the real deal," asserts Southam. "A genuine and super upbeat chap always with a smile. So we wanted to capture him spreading those good vibes around and highlight his infectious personality."

Artemas heads to Southend-on-Sea in Racer's dreamy visual for Favourite.&nbsp;In the directing team's latest for the writer-producer,&nbsp;following the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2021/11/23/artemas-real-life-racer/73943" target="_blank">Real Life</a>&nbsp;video a few months ago, we see two characters - played by Zoe Newton Kisly (who also produced the video) and&nbsp;Anthony Idahosa - enjoy all the fun of Southend's Adventure Island, winning a bounty of tickets at the arcades, climbing trees and falling in love at the karaoke bar. And all this happens while they are wearing T-Rex masks.&nbsp;The eccentric concept lends a gently humourous vibe to the video, whilst the nostalgic cinematography harks back to home videos of family holidays spent next to the sea.&nbsp;Nothing like a good T-Rex love story to get over the midweek hump...&nbsp;

James Blunt ticks off a remarkable bucket-list of heart-pounding activities, without ever leaving the studio, in Moon's wonderfully silly video for Adrenaline.From skydiving to rollercoaster-riding to delivering a baby (and lots more besides), James is experiencing every possible adrenaline-rush, but its soon clear that he's been added to variety of stock footage scenarios. Sometimes its pretty seamless, other times definitely not so.It's daft and likeable, and excellent use of a green screen shoot. It's also a further demonstration of James Blunt's determination to not take himself too seriously, and it's&nbsp;sure to put a smile on your face.
