To the delight of their legion of fans, Blur are back once again, on tour playing all the old favourites -&nbsp;and with a new album.Toby L and team have captured the band on the road to create a hugely dynamic and enjoyable promo for one&nbsp;of the songs from the just-released The Ballad Of Darren."The video for St Charles Square was shot on location at the band’s first performances in almost 10 years, occurring in less frequented towns and cities across the UK, including Colchester, Eastbourne, Wolverhampton and Newcastle," explains Toby L.&nbsp;"The shows were emotional, sweaty and very close. We wanted to merge the tension and paranoia of the song’s lyrics and themes with the infamous intensity and power of Blur’s live sets.[imgtoken data:1]"We played around with shutter speeds, leant into whip pans and crash zooms, as well as looping certain moments, offering a subtle nod to their early Popscene&nbsp;video, a song which we feel possesses a similar sense of kinetic chaos. It’s in black and white to mirror the photographic aesthetic of their current era and new album, The Ballad of Darren."Accumulatively it somehow means that 'new Blur'&nbsp;is recalling 'classic Blur', remaining both contemporaneous and timeless in equal measure. The present and past colliding harmonically, creating something new in the process."

The Sacred Egg - London-based directing duo Alex Mavor and Ed Kaye - direct&nbsp;a mesmerising, and thought-provoking promo for Depeche Mode.&nbsp;In&nbsp;this incisive, metaphorical short story,&nbsp;couple try to work their way through a&nbsp;communication breakdown in a world where talking in the normal fashion is evidently impossible - and can only be achieved underwater.It's a concept that bounces beautifully&nbsp;off the theme of the track Wagging Tongue,&nbsp;brought to life in a dramatic, and highly cinematic fashion, with&nbsp;gorgeous black and white&nbsp;cinematography by legendary DoP Simon Chaudoir, and consummmate performances from the lead actors, assisted by the use of visual effects in the underwater scenes that add a&nbsp;supernatural, otherworldly angle.&nbsp;Echoing the style of the band's longtime collaborator and creative director Anton Corbijn, the monochromatic colour palette adds to the raw aesthetic, and helps tie the concept&nbsp;to Depeche Mode's considerable videography to date.[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2][imgtoken data:3]

Mae Stephens is searching for a way out in Elliot Simpson's dazzling promo for If We Ever Broke Up.&nbsp;It's the viral alt-pop hit you've been hearing everywhere from TikTok to H&amp;M's dressing rooms, and it finally comes complete with a brilliant visual from Simpson and team.&nbsp;In the video, we see Mae devise fresh ways to escape from her overwhelming boyfriend - from poisoning his tea to letting him float away tied to a set of balloons - and from that spark of an idea, a hilarious, eccentric visual ensues.&nbsp;Offbeat and irreverent in its style, it's a perfect visual introduction to the artist (for those who have the track in their heads all day long, but may not know the person behind it yet) and it's a promise of more fun to come in future releases.

Lauren Auder dazzles in Will Reid's video for June 14th,&nbsp;performing a dramatised internal monologue between two lovers.&nbsp;Told through the artist's nuanced theatrical performance, the&nbsp;video builds into a hectic, strobe light-fuelled crescendo as the emotion&nbsp;of one of the characters&nbsp;boils over&nbsp;on screen. The video swells and recedes in time with Auder's emotional state, transitioning through several clever lighting setups that capture the journey through different moods and feelings.&nbsp;“It’s about a first sexual relationship between two characters,” says Auder - but, arguably,&nbsp;that&nbsp;is just scraping the surface.
