Luvcat falls for a vampire - with deadly results - in her latest deliciously enjoyable collaboration with Ollie Bradley-Baker.The video for Vampire At The Beach follows the now now well-established formula for the artist's videos, mixing up the gothic with the comic, and the singer-songwriter (aka Sophie Morgan Howarth) in a succession of dazzling vintage outfits. For this one Luvcat adds another level of midcentury showgirl glamour - and saucy references to bondage. She becomes the human assistant in a circus knife-throwing act, tied to a revolving target - and then strapped to an electric chair and connected to the national grid by her sullen ghoul of a boyfriend (played by Sennen Ludman), looking to find ways for Luvcat to join the ranks of the (un)dead.Splendid, darkly humourous fun, to add to Ollie Bradley-Baker's fine collection of Luvcat videos - including two for He's My Man. [imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]

Luvcat - Vampire at the Beach

Singer-songwriter Luvcat continues her run of intriguing music videos directed by Ollie Bradley-Baker by reprising the song that started their collaboration, with a new featured artist: none other than veteran punk poet Dr John Cooper Clarke. The video for He's My Man {The Anniversary} is an alternate version of the first video, with an additional gothic atmosphere and even more black humour. This time the ominous version of domestic bliss portrayed comes under a cloak of darkness, as Luvcat and Dr John play an unlikely newly married couple, and Luvcat starts preparing huge dinners for the rake-thin Dr John in the gloomy candle-lit rooms of their new home.Dr John may be Luvcat's man now, but might not be for much longer...[imgtoken data:1]

A year after his video for Jellyket - a recent winner at the Berlin Music Video Awards - Jack Whiteley reunites with Liverpool brother duo Dogshow for another bout of irresistible rave mayhem. Welcome to the Planet of the Dogs! For the video for Run With Me we join Dogshow in their scrap yard homestead - in eerily realistic huskie heads - with their pet humans - who include a returning Rosie Terry Toogood, the star of the bonkers Jellyket video. And then appropriately, the Dogs take their humans out for a run, under a blistering sun.Whiteley has easily matched and arguably exceeded the daft exuberance veering into outright insanity of his previous Dogshow video with this follow-up - which also features a drone shot courtesy of DoP Ollie Bradley-Baker and Lee Isserow that will genuinely make your head spin. And the track is a banger too - taken from Dogshow's as yet untitled debut album released later this year.[imgtoken data:1]

Luvcat puts her own twisted spin on some conventional male fantasies in her in her latest collab with Ollie Bradley-Baker.Luvcat - aka Sophie Morgan - comes to life as a human-size fairy from a clockwork music box, before dressing up as cowgirl and sexy nurse. It appears she's looking to attract a partner to have an innocently fun time. But then Luvcat reveals a darker, even damaged side to her persona - including as the patient in an asylum-like Doll Hospital. In its single studio setting with changing backdrops and props, plus her numerous costume changes, the Liverpudian singer-songwriter and Bradley-Baker have sharpened the promise of their previous videos, for He's My Man and Dinner At Brasserie Zedel, into the most successful and effective showcase yet for Luvcat. And it confirms that she's a natural-born music video performer. [imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]
