The Courteeners return with the thrilling final instalment of their&nbsp;Better trilogy, directed&nbsp;by Joe Connor.&nbsp;Written by&nbsp;novelist&nbsp;Emma Jane Unsworth as a short film and split across three videos,&nbsp;the final segment focusses on main protagonist Lauren,&nbsp;who has an out of body experience as a handful of surgeons operate on her. Vivid hallucinations fill the screen as her chest opens up into a black hole, and the further she delves into her&nbsp;labyrinthian mind, the weirder her experience&nbsp;becomes.&nbsp;&nbsp;Haunting and surreal, the visual ends where <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q8KWL4Mj1o4&amp;list=RDhe2zwSwTrK0&amp;index=2" target="_blank">the first video for Heavy Jacket</a> started, suggesting a variety of possible explanations, from a full-on drug trip to some kind of purgatory.&nbsp;The trilogy's consistent strand,&nbsp;tying together the three segments, is the band performance set-up, once again taking place in front of a retro-futuristic window in a club environment - full of energy and with a knockout performance from Corteeners' frontman Liam Fray.&nbsp;

Yonatan Weisberg has delivered this well-executed performance piece with added dramatic and visual&nbsp;flair for&nbsp;Don Broco&#39;s Nerve, which sees the band performing on a circular platform while cutting back and forth between&nbsp;scenes of tension and destruction.&nbsp;As the camera captures the scene on the circular track, we witness a&nbsp;tree being engulfed by flames, a sculpture crumbling&nbsp;to the ground and a bull trying&nbsp;to free himself from the ropes that hold him captive. Intense stuff.

Courtney Barnett&#39;s appearance&nbsp;in London during her tour provided an excellent opportunity for Jon White to capture this pop-up performance outside Camden Town tube station on August 17th 2015, for her track&nbsp;Nobody Really Cares If You Don&#39;t Go To The Party.With four camera operators on crew, White&nbsp;definitely got his&nbsp;bases covered in terms of varied viewpoints on the whole affair, giving editor Katie Walters lots of&nbsp;footage to choose from&nbsp;for a rythmic edit to follow the track. So high fives all round that this has been turned around and released in a matter of days.
