Directing duo&nbsp;rubberband. have ingeniously crafted the breathtaking promo for Lucky Daye's N.W.A. - the OUTSIDE version -&nbsp;blending physical and digital mediums to create something truly distinctive.&nbsp;This is the alternate version of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOuos3tU3AE" target="_blank">the official video directed by rubberband for the track</a> earlier this year, where the duo have created a real magazine with stills from the original video.&nbsp;Comprised of just under one hundred individually designed pages, the creative team programmed a robot to flip through individual pages,&nbsp;taking the viewer on a journey through a living, breathing work of art. &nbsp;[imgtoken data:1]Each magazine spread is&nbsp;meticulously crafted, boasting eclectic aesthetics and styling, with an overarching feeling of nostalgia, harking back to the magazine culture of the duo's youth.The seamless combination of physical and digital elements - tied together with brilliant VFX work - results in a visual that is not only extremely captivating, but also truly innovative.&nbsp;By combining different creative mediums such as fashion, editorial, music, and film, rubberband.&nbsp;have proven once again that their creativity and out-of-the-box thinking is an intrinsic part of their filmmaking DNA.

Allie Avital’s video for new pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo&nbsp;is a vibrant tale of mutual obsession and merging identities, where the director creates an elevated, dreamy reality that’s entirely fitting for&nbsp;the track’s title Deja Vu - the follow-up to her huge international hit Drivers License.Drawing inspiration from a wide array of films and television such as Ingrid Goes West, Killing Eve, 3 Women and Persona, Avital cleverly crafts what initially appears to be a one-sided curiosity, as Olivia Rodrigo obsessively studies her favourite actress&nbsp;- watching her on TV screens, copying her and literally 'trying on' her life.&nbsp;But as the film progresses, Avital slowly reveals a mutual infatuation between the two girls, ultimately culminating in a merging of identities. With a touch of humour, pop vibrance and lightness mixed with cinematic visuals, the short pulsates with energy and straddles the line of reality. By the end you are left wondering - who is copying who?“Olivia is such a collaborative and generous creative spirit and it made the process so much fun," says Avital about the making of the Deja Vu video.&nbsp;"There’s a particular internal logic to the video, and I was so lucky that Olivia, the crew, and the editor were as excited as me to develop and pursue a concept like this.&nbsp;"We were all speaking the same language by the end of the project, communicating on another level based on the rules within the world we’d built.”[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]
