The Trash Factory (James Arden)&nbsp;and Dan Smith, lead singer of Bastille, co-direct the promo for No Bad Days - a story of love, loss and the intersection of humanity and technology.&nbsp;As well as co-directing a Bastille video for the first time, Dan Smith plays a scientist who is trying to bring back the essence of his deceased love into the form of a robot - both played by Amber Jean Rowan. She gives a multi-layered performance, cycling through different characters and emotions with ease, while Smith matches this energy with his own seamless performance.&nbsp;Xander Mitchell's art direction elevates the piece to a new level, peppering the space with high-tech screens and gadgets, whilst ensuring the environment is still anchored in some sort of reality.The story, heaped with some familiar sci-fi movie references,&nbsp;also plays powerfully with the theme of the song No Bad Days, as Smith's audacious, ground-breaking experiment&nbsp;promises the end of misery - indeed the end of Death itself...[imgtoken data:1]

We're back in the working men's club for the final part of a trilogy of films for Passenger, directed by Raja Virdi. And after <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/11/04/passenger-song-drunk-and-broken-hearted-raja-virdi/67614" target="_blank">A Song For The Drunk And Brokenhearted</a>&nbsp;and <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2020/11/16/passenger-suzanne-raja-virdi/67881" target="_blank">Suzanne</a>, Remember To Forget focusses upon an individual in the club who has had a few drinks too many, but remains surprisingly graceful on his feet.Brett Jones plays the drunk who staggers and sways around the bar with unusual elegance, and then engages with Passenger and his band's performance with endearing gusto, and eventually draws the rest of the club into a joyful dance routine.With choreographed by Jamie Neale, and a noteworthy performance from the nimble Jones - who has made a few good videos in his time, including for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2014/07/15/jungle-time-oliver-hadlee-pearch/27726" target="_blank">Jungle's Time</a>&nbsp;- Raja Virdi aims for that point between&nbsp;gritty realism and fantasy and hits the mark with this poignant song-and-dance video.&nbsp;&nbsp;

Raja Virdi directs his second in a trilogy of films for Passenger, with the emotionally affecting promo for Suzanne.The film is set in the 1950s, and follows&nbsp;a boy-meets-girl love story, with the concept that memories can last a lifetime, but time is limited. The narrative is a familiar one, but remarkable performances from the cast - in both present and past timelines - tie&nbsp;the concept together with a universal sense of regret and yearning.&nbsp;DoP Pieter Snyman captures a bubbly, youthful energy with swathes of golden light and plenty of intimate closeups, which contrasts with the present day environment - a cold, blue and lifeless room, which has lost any sense of fun or contentment, and has no attachment to the vivid memories in her head.&nbsp;The appearance of Passenger as the party band also adds a layer of meaning. They are present in both the past and present timelines - more of a ghost of a memory than a real physical presence, a soundtrack to a time which can no longer be experienced.&nbsp;

Raja Virdi directs his second video for Passenger, for the poignant A Song For The Drunk&nbsp;And Broken Hearted.&nbsp;Taking inspiration from Joker, we see Passenger and his band - all in clown make-up - play&nbsp;to an uninterested social club audience - intercut&nbsp;with&nbsp;multiple vignettes depicting the artist's&nbsp;unhappiness and willing to escape.The lovely cinematography by Pieter Synmanis the embodiment of downbeat mood of the song, with a depressed green colour palette and grimy aesthetic, creating a dichotomy between the seemingly upbeat music and the dark narrative.&nbsp;

Directing duo Bedroom - Soren Harrison and Amir Hossain - deliver a characteristically inventive homage&nbsp;to early-2000s teen movies&nbsp;for pop juggernauts The 1975's Me And You Together Song.Like every good teen movie, this one has its cliques - the goths, the preppy crew, the stoners and the jocks - and we learn that all roads lead to snogging, no matter how unique the teenager. But this one has a Bedroom vibe - mixed media, and a clever device&nbsp;to seamlessly interweave between scenes: characters climb through sinks and windows to move from space to space,&nbsp;the multiple sets connected in the same way the characters are interlinked&nbsp;throughout the video, while Matty and band orchestrate proceedings.Packed full of colour and vibrant set design,&nbsp;art director&nbsp;Bobbie Cousins has done a smashing job of recreating the aesthetic of the early Noughties, and style-wise, Bedroom&nbsp;pull references from Von Dutch and various other popular brand names of the era. DoP&nbsp;Pieter Synman takes advantage of the carefree and fun vibe, utilising handheld movement and plenty of coloured lighting to match the aesthetic and&nbsp;energy of the track.

Not Always is North London teenager Ama Lou&#39;s second release, with an engaging&nbsp;video by Danny McGuire that explores&nbsp;ideas of gender roles and shifting identities.We follow the progress of Ama and a boy in their swapped roles, mainly on a night on the town&nbsp;- well, Stoke Newington.&nbsp;Ama came up with the concept and it&#39;s deftly directed by McGuire &ndash;&nbsp;with Ed Munro as her cross-dressing, gender-bending&nbsp;counterpart.It&#39;s also something&nbsp;of a family affair behind the camera. Ama&#39;s&nbsp;DoP sister Mahalia John, and makeup artist mother Kate John both worked on the video.&nbsp;
