Mihai is 24 and he is coming all the way from Oradea, Romania. He graduated University of the Arts London, with a BA in Film and Television and is the co-founder of Full House Films. He has experience in short films, music videos, commercials, documentaries and eating instant noodles. Several of his short films have been screened at film festivals all around Europe.

Mihai Feflea directs a high-spirited&nbsp;promo for Penguin Cafe.&nbsp;In 1972, the founder of Penguin Cafe Orchestra, Simon Jeffes (father of Arthur Jeffes, who founded Penguin Cafe) was hallucinating from fish poisoning, and imagined the Penguin Cafe as&nbsp;"a magical haven within the concrete jungle." This&nbsp;video aims to bring all these facets to life.The juxtaposition of warm, playful character work and grey city landscapes is immediately captivating, with some of London's best-known brutalist structures appearing in the backdrop of the visual.&nbsp;Josie Cronk's cinematography emphasises the distinct worlds represented in the video: the neon world at night, the natural light of day and&nbsp;the&nbsp;warm tungsten lights in the café. These worlds are a unique yet familiar&nbsp;part of everyday life, and feel immediately comforting yet complex, much like the soundscapes in the track and musical genre.&nbsp;

Mihai Feflea directs a super-vibrant promo for alt-rock project&nbsp;Tummyache.&nbsp;Inspired by the films of&nbsp;Ingmar Bergman and Terrence Malick, the surreal&nbsp;visual for Circling The Drain&nbsp;was shot on 16mm Kodak Vision3 250D and on the Éclair NPR 16mm cine camera,&nbsp;an important part of the cinéma vérité movement in France.Featuring an abstract amalgam of beachside setups, the video follows two characters traversing a picturesque landscape. Their relationship and connection are kept vague, and any narrative elements serve more as connecting tissue between the eccentric visual moments.&nbsp;There is beauty in mystery, and this video by Mihai Feflea is a perfect example of that - and the aesthetic is gorgeously executed, with saturated colours and a nostalgic, unique feel throughout.&nbsp;
