Chris Ranson brings us a vibrant living portrait of the city of New Orleans in this Director&#39;s Cut version of his video for Nevada&#39;s remake of Mark Morrison&#39;s Return Of The Mack, which &#39;pays homage to the 20th anniversary of the original song&#39;.Letting a series of candid snapshots tell their own story of the city, Ranson and DoP Stefan Yap have managed to weave a rich tapestry of New Orleans culture, specifically based around Bounce music, but spanning much further than that.Showing residents of all ages, the video becomes part-documentary and part-visual poem, and an authentic tribute to the life and soul of the city itself.

Forests, train stations and a white abstracted space are all places they visit in the span of a few seconds...&quot;The narrative is deliberately broken and fragmented,&quot; says Baldwin.&nbsp;&quot;But essentially it&#39;s a series of abstract visuals about the &#39;what if&#39; moment of seeing someone you are instantly attracted to, and the random subconscious thoughts that fire rapidly through your mind in those fleeting seconds.&rdquo;

Rick Astley is back, with his biggest hit since the good old days of Stock Aitken Waterman. And Angels On My Side comes equipped with a video by Mike Baldwin that is a pitch-perfect mix of music, dance and action-comedy, that has you rooting for Rick as a unfussily cool,&nbsp;charmed&nbsp;everyman.It starts with Rick hung up in the dangerous end of&nbsp;some sketchy gangster dealings at a cargo container park.&nbsp;He&#39;s in the backseat of a car with two burly, fearsome&nbsp;men - who somehow have failed to notice Rick&#39;s Angels - in the form of&nbsp;50s leather-jacket clad dancing&nbsp;girls (from dance troupe&nbsp;Sparkle Motion), are hanging out by a container, and break out in&nbsp;Grease-style formation, whenever Astley breaks into the chorus.When&nbsp;the whole affair comes to a head, as the&nbsp;gangster boss&nbsp;struts out from an&nbsp;alley, the girls swoop in, and get Rick out of harms way. It&#39;s silly, but it&#39;s also superior&nbsp;entertainment&nbsp;from Mike Baldwin, who after a long break, is now back&nbsp;on a roll in music videos.

Michael Baldwin has captured singer Andy Brown&#39;s&nbsp;touching wedding proposal - in the form of a music video - for his band&nbsp;Lawson&#39;s song Where My Love Goes.Handsomely shot by two camera crews, the video features the band playing in a church,&nbsp;performing the romantic ballad while Joey - Andy&#39;s&nbsp;unsuspecting girlfriend - takes pictures. Then, towards the end of the song, some&nbsp;lovely lighting signage in cursive is&nbsp;revealed,&nbsp;asking for her hand in marriage. (Aww.)The heartwarming little video was elegantly pulled off through plenty of planning,&nbsp;as Michael Baldwin&nbsp;explains:&nbsp;&quot;Andy wanted to capture the surprise of the proposal in-camera so we had to plan the day like a wedding itself to make sure we didn&#39;t blow our &#39;cover.&#39;&nbsp;I didn&#39;t want to be responsible for messing up his moment! It all went according to plan (phew) and I think the emotion of the day -&nbsp;and relief -&nbsp;was captured in the final video.&quot;
