But everyone on the team worked super-diligently and collaboratively to pull all the stops out of the bag to make it a success."For me, I’m super proud of the fact that it’s a unique blend of gorgeous cinematic visuals, comedic moments and fun choreography. Pop videos come in all shapes and sizes now but this was our little throwback to old school pop: tongue-in-cheek with a playful sensibility."

Carla Dauden directs a fun-filled promo for new pop girl Dylan, who shows her mischievous&nbsp;side in Girl Of Your Dreams.&nbsp;The video&nbsp;sees the artist break&nbsp;into her love interest's house - while he's sound asleep -&nbsp;making a raucous mess as she aims to cement herself as the girl of his dreams.&nbsp;The use of playful visual effects - a pair of lips on a hand, moving posters and TV heads - adds a playful spark to the concept, whilst Dylan's absorbing performance will have viewers mesmerised through all of the madness.&nbsp;A bright-coloured throwback to Noughties videos with a fresh, contemporary flourish.&nbsp;

Calum Macdiarmid explores the borough of Newham in his second collaboration with emerging London-based rapper Big V1ne.Impressed by the honesty of the song’s subject matter, Calum worked to reflect the lyrics by capturing the artist in his own home, looking out of his bedroom window. The footage is accompanied by photographs taken by James Demetriou, placing viewers even further into the heart of Newham.Macdiarmid comments: “I did a few music videos during the lockdown period, but this one felt like the most effortless and conceptual. It had a crew of two – myself and the DOP Max Witting – and we turned up separately and shot the film in about three hours. As Big V1ne himself described it, it was a ‘Deliveroo Music Video’ – he didn’t even have to leave the house for the entirety of the shoot!”

Joshua Trigg directs a story of revenge for his younger brother Kit Trigg.&nbsp;Shot on 16mm, the narrative section of the video takes place at a skate park, where the lead character's love interest&nbsp;is seen dismissing any attempt at conversation. The character-&nbsp;played by another member of the Trigg family, youngest brother Beau-&nbsp;is teased and ignored until he finally snaps. Chaos ensues as he flees in a panic and is chased out of the area by the group.&nbsp;A performance section intercuts the narrative, with Kit in his bedroom listening to old vinyl and playing a variety of instruments.&nbsp;Nostalgic and yearnful for the 90s/ early 00's, the visual is a mix of British and American themes and iconography, paying homage to skating culture and unrequited love.&nbsp;

A squabbling couple&nbsp;find a mysterious robed figure waiting for them in Calum&nbsp;Macdiarmid's haunting visual for Monsters.&nbsp;Driving into a multi-storey carpark, the couple are confronted by a statuesque character in&nbsp;an unusual mask and robe, who then&nbsp;performs,&nbsp;transfixing them with hypnotic&nbsp;and otherwordly&nbsp;movements.&nbsp;Quickly spinning into a whirlwind of sex, regret, happiness and satisfaction, the themes are very much open to interpretation, with an undercurrent of complex emotions and events leading to this point in the story.&nbsp;"The idea for the film was inspired by marriage therapy, horror films, and dogging," says Macdiarmid.&nbsp;"I liked the idea of couples going on these brilliant seedy adventures at night, but what if they found something even more magical than just sex?"&nbsp;

JP Cooper reflects on past heartache in Calum Macdiarmid's video for In These Arms.&nbsp;Sat in the front seat of an abandoned car, JP is trapped in a lonely reality reflecting on&nbsp;memories of a better time. His partner sits in the other seat, within touching distance physically but emotionally in a whole separate world.&nbsp;Flashbacks to a better time, where the couple are kissing, embracing and sharing tender moments are intercut with the overwhelming negativity of the present situation.&nbsp;&nbsp;Calum Macdiarmid balances the light and dark of a relationship that, once filled with joy and affection, is beginning to feel loveless and claustrophobic. Building up to a climactic ending, it is both dramatic and affecting, and a beautiful interpretation of the&nbsp;music.&nbsp;

Ever wondered what happened to James Blunt after he threw himself into the ocean at the end of the iconic music video for You’re Beautiful?Rather than asking the obvious follow-up question&nbsp;- where have you been for the past 14 years? - let's embrace the fact that Calum&nbsp;Macdiarmid has ingeniously brought back that James Blunt, the one who had the balls to jump off a cliff for real in the original video directed by Sam Brown, for a sequel.The video for Cold starts with him in the water, moments after his jump, and clinging to life. And then in the following few minutes, he is swept up onto shore, stepping on the rocks - and starts climbing back up that cliff, clinging to the rock face, and back up onto the summit - and beyond.Max Witting picks up the DoP role from Robbie Ryan this time around, and carries something of the stark, bleak mood from the original video. But once again this smart idea works due to the unbelievable commitment from the artist, who delivers a&nbsp;top-notch physical performance&nbsp;- he's evidently still doing his own stunts - and a heartfelt vocal performance too.&nbsp;An inspired sequel, as welcome as it was&nbsp;unexpected.&nbsp;

That Jam - aka directing duo&nbsp;Joe Beverley and Sam Hurlock - have delivered a riveting two-fisted&nbsp;drama for Basheba&#39;s Don&#39;t Go, where the feral existence of twin brothers in the north of England&nbsp;who are eking a living on building sites, descends into chaos, violence and blood.To increase the intensity, the story is told non-sequentially, and the relentless pace never wavers in a video featuring barnstorming performances. Impressive work by the directing duo who have also built a reputation in live event direction.
