Oscar Hudson&#39;s first full-length video for Radiohead arrives hot on the heels of his video for Young Martha, and it&#39;s another superb setpiece, that considering the name of the song, was just asking to be made.Thom Yorke embarks on one of the most surreal lift rides ever, and in the process taps into our anxiety about and the alienating effects of high-rise living. As with Hudson&#39;s previous work, like Bonobo&#39;s No Reason and <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2017/09/11/young-thug-carnage-young-martha-ft-meek-mill-homie-oscar-hudson" target="_blank">aforementioned Young Martha video</a>,&nbsp;this is very largely executed&nbsp;in-camera.All the scenes beyond the doors of the elevator&nbsp;are there, for real &ndash; only the lift display and buttons were added in post&nbsp;- <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/BY_H_JCjbqr/" target="_blank">an ingenious piece of design and organisation,</a> and exemplary work by production designer&nbsp;Luke Moran-Morris, art director Mia James and their team. A&nbsp;very satisfying experience.

Cue&nbsp;a&nbsp;stream of oddball, quasi-Freudian symbolism straight out of the Casey &amp; Ewan handbook of weird thoughts: doors of perception leading to hearts drained of blood and pencils floating through doughnuts, via love as a pinball game.It all represents&nbsp;the lad&#39;s subconscious anxiety of losing the temptress Polyhedra to a buff-bodied&nbsp;airhead. Well, if you must go on Tindr just before bedtime.

Bif, the French directing/VFX/animation duo based at The Mill in London, made people&nbsp;sit up and take notice with their first music video, for <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/07/28/azel-phara-green-bif" target="_blank">Azel Phara</a>. Now they have&nbsp;created an amazing, over the top piece of CGI fun for Shy Luv.Using 3D models of the band, Bif (that&#39;s Jules Janaud and Fabrice Le Nezet) have created a bizarre endless skydive wherein the producer-DJ duo&nbsp;are&nbsp;replicated beyond count, tumble&nbsp;through a blue expanse past huge, statuesque&nbsp;women (including guest vocalist Cherie Jones. The bodies stretch, bounce and morph like rubber, colliding into each other and making hilarious shapes and patterns - an experience as enjoyable as it is bizarre.&nbsp;

Finn Keenan directs a charmingly funny mockumentary for Willie J Healey, in which he&nbsp;tasks Willie with playing &ldquo;a pathetic but likable character who dedicated his life to recording the sound of things that don&rsquo;t make sound.&rdquo; Willie is a &quot;Mute-ician&quot; (someone who specialises in recording nonophonic sound, don&#39;t you know).The video sees Healey run through his recording process with things like &quot;Squashed Pumpkin&quot; and &quot;a nice fence&quot; amongst other hilarious nonophonic objects. With plenty of great visual gags, some brilliant reactions from the general public and Healey committing to his role with an excellent deadpan delivery, this is a real treat.The whole thing has the look of a VHS tape dusted off after years in the bottom of a charity shop bargain bin, and it&#39;s all the better for it. &nbsp;&nbsp;

It's more of the same great 90s pastiche we saw in the Detroit video, only now the characters are out in the real world. This is plainly hilarious.Ben Reed&#39;s new video for Infinity Ink&#39;s Full Capacity begins with a title card that reads&nbsp;&#39;Shadwell &amp; Anners Security and Community Theatre Presents Full Capacity or: The Raver Whose Brain Escaped&#39;. Frankly, I&#39;m already 100% sold.Of course there is more.&nbsp;A 4:3 aspect ratio, a low-rent theatre setting, a caveman and four bouncers. It feels like a crazed development on Reed&#39;s Blur video from last year, but his commitment to going fully-strange with it pays off with surreal comic moments piled on top of one another.Ben Reed incorporates wigs, talking brains and&nbsp;chairs in lieu of horses, to tell the tale that, on the face of it, appears to be about&nbsp;a man unable to enter a nightclub. But really this is a story about life, death and&nbsp;the vital minutiae of everything in between.Okay, not really - but it is very funny.

Sometimes, the greatest battle happens within oneself - an idea that Ollie Wolf has reached in and externalised in his new video for Nao.In the beautifully shot set-piece we follow Ashley Walters (star of Channel 4&#39;s Top Boy, and former member of So Solid Crew) as he comes to terms with himself in a very physical way. His insecurites manifest in a physical form that only he can see, and as such he&#39;s the only person who can be hurt by them.The jarring, angular composition of the location makes for some still, yet striking moments&nbsp;of composition cut against the frenetic handheld energy of Walters&#39;&nbsp;internal/external struggle.His eventual escape from the house is an escape from the self &ndash; but he can&#39;t help but look back as he&#39;s leaving. Fighting that doubt is an ongoing battle.

Shot in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire over two days during the summer, Lucy Luscombe&#39;s evocative video for Darkstar&#39;s The Days Burn Blue is a series of intimate portraits of happy, carefree local youth - some of whom are close to meeting the harsh realities of adulthood face-to-face.&quot;I was interested in what a coming-of-age might feel like to a kid in a town outside of London during the &#39;age of austerity&#39; &ndash;&nbsp;a surreal transition from the expectation of childhood, to the exhilaration of emerging adulthood, to the quiet realisation that fulfilling your dreams in modern Britain is perhaps an impossibility,&quot;&nbsp;says the director, who moved to Huddersfield during pre-production, getting to know the place and the community before shooting the film - the third in a series of commissions by Warp Records for Channel 4&rsquo;s Random Acts.&nbsp;&nbsp;Luscombe, who has now joined the directors&#39; roster at&nbsp;Caviar in London, continues: &quot;The talent, promise and character I encountered amongst the youth in Huddersfield was overwhelming.&nbsp;Really bright kids with big dreams and little infrastructure to realise them.
