One adjective above all others applies to Emil Nava&#39;s new Calvin video: icy. It&#39;s so&nbsp;icy, in fact, it has towering blocks of ice around &quot;stone-cold diva&quot; Kehlani, and Lil Yachty is performing on a ice sports car. You heard that right. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5T7C5xbRGs8&amp;feature=youtu.be" target="_blank">A sports car made of ice</a>. How cool is that?Above all, Nava shows his mastery of the pop video medium with Faking It, collaborating with legendary DoP Martin Coppen to achieve a great look. The mix of formats and double exposures is classy, and it&#39;s a lovely edit by Sean Fazende, and grade by Aubrey Woodiwiss.There&#39;s no faking that this is a very cool (as well as icy)&nbsp;video.&nbsp;

Three Scots walk into a bar...Scottish Indie-rock heroes&nbsp;Biffy Clyro get a little bit Kubrickian in the video for Howl. Marc Klasfeld oversees this hyper-surreal clip in which the band appear to have stumbled into some other-world burlesque bar (complete with a David Lynch-esque mirror of themselves playing onstage).The video is rife with references to The Shining, but with a dark and sexy twist. We look on in horror and amusement as Biffy take part in some maddening metamorphosis and become characters in the world they&#39;ve stumbled into.

Emil Nava is as slick as he is prolific, and he certainly proves that with this video for Calvin Harris and Rihanna&#39;s This Is What You Came For - his eighth video this year.Occupying a huge, white, otherworldly&nbsp;cube, Rihanna takes centre stage as her surroundings chop and change around her.&nbsp;Using a combination of exterior shots, projection mapping and lasers, Nava and his team produce some incredible&nbsp;visual illusions, including an awesome piece with a parked car and some cool perspective trickery.

So who better to direct the video than Wayne Isham, who&nbsp;directed the original for N&#39;Sync&nbsp;back in 2000?This time around, Fall Out Boy are the ones&nbsp;turned into plastic before&nbsp;getting dumped in the bargain bin by Joey Fatone, baritone singer&nbsp;of NSync - and eventually saved by Demi.
