KAZU, the iconic voice of the seminal band Blonde Redhead, has released&nbsp;the&nbsp;video for her latest single Come Behind Me, So Good!&nbsp;Directed by Eva Michon, the visual is&nbsp;a segment from the accompanying album-length narrative film Adult Baby, coming later this year. Featuring costumes by Isabel Marant, the&nbsp;film is a folk tale shot on Elba Island, a tiny jewel in the Tyrrhenian Sea off Tuscany, which KAZU calls home. Shot in a small church in Capoliveri, KAZU dances toward the altar in her own unique way, casting a hypnotic spell with a strange allure. Set against the darkly atmospheric church, she wears a stark white shirt, floating against the backdrop like an ethereal apparition. Michon enlisted locals from the village to play the characters praying in the church.

Natasha Kahn (Bat for Lashes) makes a welcome return, directing and starring in a strange and tender vignette set in the eerie light of the Los Angeles hills. The multi-instrumentalist continues&nbsp;her love affair with the American city in this cosmic love story about a girl and boy from different universes.We were first introduced to Kahn in Dougal Wilson’s now legendary video for What’s a Girl to Do: a lonely woman cycling down a desolate highway, deep in the Witching Hour. Over the next&nbsp;15 years, the singer has developed a distinct visual oeuvre, comparable even to the great Kate Bush, her stage name becoming&nbsp;shorthand for a specific kind of mesmerising high&nbsp;concept video, in which the singer adopted different guises and identities. Like Bush, Kahn has graduated to directing her own videos - including a fascinating video cycle for her concept album The Bride (2016).Kids in the Dark is the first cut from her new album, a larger concept built around a new character called Nikki Pink - played by Natasha Khan. The character went missing, and has now re-emerged in the nocturnal, feminine world of the “Lost Girls” - a marauding gang of bikers. The video has been trailed by various clues about Nikki’s whereabouts, including cryptic images and Kahn’s very own phone line (#batphoners).The ghostly photography by Gilles O'Kane immediately conjures up images from cult classics&nbsp;Mulholland Drive and Betty Blue. It was edited by long-time collaborator Noel Paul.

Eva Michon&nbsp;has created a narrative film for the Blonde Redhead singer&nbsp;Kazu's debut solo LP Adult Baby, with the second single Meo, providing the soundtrack to the sweeping trailer to the film.The film for Adult Baby was conceived and delivered on the island of Elba, where in 1814, Napoleon Bonaparte was banished into exile and where KAZU is resolved to spend much of her life.Inspired by historical events and symbolism of the island, Michon treats each song from Adult Baby as a chapter of the larger narrative, which will be approximately 40 minutes in length.The forthcoming film is an ambitious co-production, produced by Lief with support of Ponderosa Music Records, Isabel Marant, Common Good, Merman, and Handsome. Costumes were designed by French designer Isabel Marant, a longtime friend of KAZU, in support of her long-awaited stand-alone project and her first solo endeavor outside of Blonde Redhead.&nbsp;

Now it has happened, and it is extraordinary.This&nbsp;highly original performance piece for Mouth Mantra takes place partly in a 360 construction of the interior of Bjork&#39;s mouth - an animatronic recreation, made at the John Nolan Studio. It&#39;s strange, beautiful and brutal - and pure Kanda. Not the easiest watch, frankly, but remarkable nonetheless. &nbsp;

But he settled on Wales as the setting for a gritty and sometimes harrowing seven and a half minute action thriller for Circles by I See Monstas.&nbsp;This emotional&nbsp;rollercoaster starts with an incarcerated man - played by Frederick Schmidt -&nbsp;looking back on happier times. But on his release from prison,&nbsp;consequences of his past misdemeanours lead him into despair, and deeper into chaos &ndash; and an increasingly vicious spiral of violence.It&#39;s powerful and brutal, with a performance of great intensity by Schmidt - and more evidence that Josh Cole&#39;s destiny surely lies in making action drama for the big screen.&nbsp;
