Travis&#39;s video for Moving&nbsp;features a delightfully different form of moving image - a series of animations that appear out of the cold air breath of the members of the band. And it was all done in real-time - no post production whatsoever. &nbsp;It&#39;s the result of the&nbsp;combined expertise of filmmakers Wriggles &amp; Robins (London creatives Tom Wrigglesworth and Tom Robinson), and VFX artists at ther motion design studio at (appropriately) the Moving Picture Company. An animated story was&nbsp;created, then projected - then made visible by the band&#39;s breath, and captured on camera.MPC&rsquo;s extensive creature library was harnessed for animal structures &ndash; their designs were then evolved and altered to be unique to the film. The animations were created in cycles, then looped and composited in After Effects. The best takes in the edit could be selected to work out the framing. The 3D camera movements and additional 3D components were created using Cinema 4D.MPC&rsquo;s VFX supervisor Bernat Amengual says: &ldquo;We&rsquo;re always on the look out for new creative talent, so Wriggles and Robins were already on our radar. Putting them together with a band of the stature of Travis, and being able to marry their ingenious and beautiful projection idea with an equally and typically innovative track, was the kind of opportunity which doesn&rsquo;t come along that often. A perfect creative coupling. We think the results are stunning.&rdquo;Travis&rsquo;s Fran Healy says: &ldquo;Everyone on set became 5 years old, wide eyed, all day, watching real magic. Lot&#39;s of ooohs and aahhs. It was very cool.&rdquo;&nbsp;

The video has that classic look too - on account of it being shot on good, old fashioned 16mm. "Which was so nice," says Ben Falk, of Ben &amp; Jos.

Glaswegian alt rockers Twin Atlantic team up with Ben &amp; Jos for this fun, stark white then gradually very messy performance promo to their pounding Time For You To Stand Up.Lots of mini-cams were used in the shooting of the performance - all destroyed in the process. &quot;The aim of the video was to have a fun, rock n&#39; roll promo where we got to seek our evil revenge on a band,&quot; Ben &amp; Jos explain on the Agile Films website. &quot;We felt a little guilty after meeting the guys as they we lovely, down to earth and enjoyed drinking beer! We went through the concept, they tried on their outfits and we went to a Mexican restaurant and chatted rubbish.&quot;The day of the shoot was much the same (without the beer or Mexican food), despite us covering them in black paint, then leaving them for an hour until we were reset, they remained truly chirpy and insistent that they were going to enjoy themselves. The atmosphere on set was great as a result.&quot;

For the oompa oompa throb of Riva Starr's I Was Drunk, JMD get to grips with the club hit via this cute and ahem, strange little vignette.
From JMD: "The brief was to create a video that was as fun to make as to watch. We were pretty sure pitching an idea with babies would make it impossible to hit the brief, however, James Hackett went for the idea and, actually, credit to him and our crew (especially our consummate professional lead actors - Liam and Christopher - they're twins don't you know) we had a great time". 
"Watching our male dominated crew clucking, gurning and quacking like Donald Duck was the highlight. Special Thanks to Chris at Munky who worked his ass off putting that moustache on and Rachel and Tamsin who pulled in help from every mum they could".

Dreamy, delicious, aquatic... the ironic pop is supplied by Friendly Fires, the delightful visuals by Price James on a mythical vibe quite possibly inspired by The Iliad. Or something.
Well, perhaps not - but Price is in the medals with his canny use of synchronised swimming and upside-down cameras.
And in a sense of timing that would impress Christine Ohuruogu, Price is showing this and more of his work - like Shitdisco's OK and Lost Penguins' Pleasurewood Kills, and quite possibly his hap-hap-happy <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watchv=j3KU6MnL-7Q">Mr Kipling ad</a> - at the Canary Wharf Film Festival running from August 28th to 31st.
Price's mini-retrospective and Q&amp;A is at East Wintergarden, Canary Wharf, Thursday 28th August, 7.30pm. Tickets, er, priced £3, are available <a href="http://www.cwff.org.uk:16080/08/main.phpl=booking_s1&amp;event=8">here</a>.

"I shot it on the Red cam. I doubt any video will not be shot on anything else in a year. The results are beautiful, although post houses are really gonna have to catch up - they are not happy about the file sizes! But The Mill really looked after us.
"We couldn't afford a casting as the swimmers are too in-demand. In fact, I wasn't actually allowed to 'rehearse' with them as that would count as a half-day and we couldn't afford that either! So I took my Speedos and 'met' with them at their training pool, and had to discuss 'moves', without them doing the moves, and without me discussing moves. It was a bureaucratic nightmare!!
"One of the girls was a world champion, and appeared at the Barcelona Olympics, the other one is a dead ringer for Lily Cole... they were like little nymphs.
"We shot at underwater studios in Essex - they shot the underwater scenes for Sexy Beast there. The owner was very excited when I asked who had shot there before, leading to the classic 45 minute recollection of him hanging out with Ray Winstone, etc. He barely took a breath!
"It was the first underwater shoot in Europe with the Red. There is only one housing for it, and that's in LA and we couldn't get it. We experimented with an SR3 bag and it fitted - but only just.
"The water was too warm on the day so the camera bag steamed up and dripped condensation over the lens. But the operator was so punk rock, he shoved loads of tissues down the sides and then put it back in the water to see if it was leaking!! We were glad that it didn't (I must add that he owned his own camera...)."
