Chris Ranson directs an impressive live performance video&nbsp;for Labrinth, inspired by the artist's work on the HBO show Euphoria.&nbsp;Taking place in an expansive venue hall, Labrinth performs four tracks in succession, backdropped by a hypnotic LED screen and corruscating laser lights.&nbsp;The buzzing energy of the promo is elevated by DoP Stefan Yap's dreamlike cinematography, rotating and gliding through the space with silky smooth precision.&nbsp;

Ali Kurr's new video for Rina Sawayama tackles a serious subject with verve, wit and lots of visual style - and it's her first video as a director at Darkroom, Partizan's content and music video division.The concept behind Sawayama's hard rock-pop banger STFU!&nbsp;derives from her&nbsp;own experiences, her inner angst about micro-insults and all too familiar stereotypes as a Japanese woman brought up in the West. The film begins with a dialogue - written by Sawayama and scriptwriter Isobel Rogers - between Rina and her frustratingly ignorant date, in an upmarket Japanese restaurant, who subjects her to casually offensive, insensitive and stereotypical comments about her race, while apparently thinking he is being thoughtful.&nbsp;Eventually, enough is enough. Rina's internal rage explodes, in surprising ways. Her noughties nu-metal is slickly visualized&nbsp;in empowered versions of the stereotypes discussed by her despicable&nbsp;date. Catharsis is achieved.&nbsp;The video for STFU!, Kurr's first at Darkroom, follows promos made for&nbsp;Loyle Carner, Poppy Ajudha and Connie Constance. This year she has also directed spots for BBC, Veet and British Vogue.

Take a journey down the rabbit hole in the wild&nbsp;video for Eli Moon's Feeling Right, directed by I Am Here.&nbsp;Bathed in neon light, Eli Moon is guided through dark party hallways by a mysterious woman, whilst the visuals on-screen degrade into a kaleidoscope of textures. Heavy on lo-fi VFX courtesy of&nbsp;Deveroe, the video is suggestive in terms of narrative, then hits it out of the park with the experimental imagery.&nbsp;Feeling equal parts The Matrix, futuristic cyberpunk and frenetic drug trip, the visuals are stunning to watch, and&nbsp;I Am Here's experience with surrealist concepts really shine through here.&nbsp;

Meji Alabi teams up with Eugy for the video for Hold Me Down - shot in the National Theatre of Ghana. It is the first time anyone has been permitted to shoot a music video in this spectacular theatre, and the team don't waste the opportunity.Using the impressive structure as a backdrop, every shot utilises the angular, imposing architecture of the location, and when paired with the subtle art direction it creates a bold, striking series of images.This theme carries through to the wardrobe, where a cast of extras wear uniquely shaped&nbsp;garments, full of straight edges and sharp contours, with a splash of colour and local flair. The performances are confident and assured, from both the artists and dancers, resulting in&nbsp;an exciting video packed full of ambitious concepts.&nbsp;The interiors are just as gorgeous, and&nbsp;Francis Lane does a great job of creating a dark and sexy atmosphere, utilising the deep red colour palette&nbsp;of the theatre, painting the characters in a vibrant silhouette. This is a project very much focused on form and design, and it's a must watch.

Sophie Jones&rsquo;s first official music video under the <a href="https://www.darkroomworld.com/">Darkroom</a> banner&nbsp;- Partizan&#39;s reactivated division for up and coming&nbsp;talent &ndash; is her second collaboration with artist Roses Gabor.&nbsp;The promo for I Could Be Yours&nbsp;is a dreamlike sequence of vignettes, set in sun-kissed countryside, which juxtaposes idyllic bliss with pure aggression.While Roses&nbsp;gazes through a car windscreen, bare-chested dancers execute a battle, drawn out in slow motion, which leaves the viewer to focus on the details of the movement.Following on from the striking casting of her previous Gabor video for&nbsp;Illusions, this features an array of unusual faces and figures, and Sophie Jones&#39;s very considered approach and pacing allows the artist performance of the song some room to gradually take centre stage in the piece.
