Clean Bandit's Jack Patterson collaborates with Eric Myers to direct the heartfelt video for Everything But You, in aid of the Campaign Against Living Miserably.The video boldly addresses the subject of depression and suicidal thoughts with a combination of grim, gritty realism and uplifting fantasy - and perhaps controversially depicts a scene of attempted suicide with has necessitated the video opening with a 'trigger warning'.At the heart of the video is a relationship story - and dance sequence -&nbsp;between the young man at the end of his tether, and the magical elf-like female alien who saves him. She shares the same appearance, and flying ability, as Clean Bandit's Jack and Grace, and vocalist A7s, in the Avatar-style performance set-up.[imgtoken data:1]Eric Myers is known for his work as a DoP, but in this case he hands over that role to Rick Joaquim, who excels in bringing two contrasting visual styles into one package.&nbsp;And ultimately the story delivers a strongly optimistic message, as explained by Clean Bandit in their support for CALM."The message of Everything But You is that there is always hope, always a reason for living. Samuel Douek presents a "love letter to London nightlife" in this visual tour de force for Little Mix's Confetti.&nbsp;This is the band's first release as a three-piece since the departure of Jesy Nelson, and shows the artists launched into&nbsp;a dance off between&nbsp;themselves and their male alter-egos.The project was very personal to Douek, and includes&nbsp;dancers and party starters from his personal circle, as well as icons from the latest Drag Race UK series – Bimini, Tayce and A’Whora.&nbsp;At six minutes in length, the video is no doubt a major event in the pop sphere, and is paired with top-notch cinematography and creative perfection across the board, from styling to costumes to art direction.It's great work to launch the next chapter of the Little Mix&nbsp;story, a great precursor to their win at last night's Brit Awards (May 11th) winning Best British Group, for a record breaking third time - and making an inspirational&nbsp;acceptance speech to boot - and certainly&nbsp;a big step forward in Samuel Douek's development as an exciting new Brirtish pop video director.[imgtoken data:1][imgtoken data:2]
