Blake Claridge directs a stirring promo for the long-awaited return of&nbsp;The Subways.&nbsp;The video takes place in a 70's-inspired bedroom - complete with wood panelling, graphic carpets and earthy colour palettes - with the group rocking out as the camera rotates and descends frenetically, perpetually transitioning from the top to the bottom of the room in a crane-style movement.&nbsp;"I guess I can refer to The Subways as long time collaborators now," says Blake Claridge.&nbsp;"It's been about fifteen years since our first video. Perhaps I am getting old now - I’m not!!""That was also the drive of the concept of the video. The track is certainly punk and youthful and I wanted to bring that to the piece without it feeling forced or out of touch, so kept things simple and allowed them to do what they do best."

KLVDR directs a palpably luxurious video with a brutal twist, for Skepta's return with Nirvana.Set in a stately home, Skepta plays a butler, second-in-command to the head butler (played by Terence Vincent),&nbsp;who provides a special service to the beautiful lady of the house (played by Marlene Marie) - in the boudoir.[imgtoken data:1]Things get darker when J Balvin makes his appearance, tied to an upturned chair in a dank basement. It's the first suggestion that things may not turn out so well for Skepta either.With a combination of the grand setting, supporting characters and the casting of a glamourous femme fatale, KLVDR has graduated to a fully cinematic experience, with elements of Bond. Ultimately, the ending is blood-soaked and downbeat - like the better Bond movies. But perhaps surprisingly, Skepta's fate is not to emerge as a winner, but to be replaced.

Louis Bhose directs his second video for Maisie Peters, the fun-filled&nbsp;promo for Psycho.&nbsp;Following his video for&nbsp;John Hughes Movie a few months ago - and his stint as <a href="https://open.spotify.com/episode/1LzYAxUQa1wjphrJthTT6o" target="_blank">a guest on The Promonews Podcast</a> a few weeks back - Bhose presents a twisting narrative punctuated by a handful of Maisie&nbsp;clones, amping up the surreal vibes of his previous collaboration with the artist.&nbsp;As always, (the real) Peters is mesmerising in her performance, and her willingness to take a chance on an abstract vision pays off hugely, in one of her most exciting and engaging videos to date.&nbsp;You can see Louis' pre-vis for the video <a href="https://vimeo.com/567836958/6592d07643" target="_blank">here</a>.&nbsp;

Ehsan directs a banger for Unknown P, the world's poshest drill rapper - the creation&nbsp;of comedian Munya Chawawa -&nbsp;depicting a bombastic food fight among the vile&nbsp;upper classes.Opening with a group of well-to-do chums having breakfast, the video cuts between a&nbsp;Good Morning Britain&nbsp;parody on a TV - with Unknown P in the eponymous Piers Morgan role -&nbsp;and an unexpected&nbsp;narrative full of quirky characters and hilarious props... and plenty of fancy baked goods.Ehsan has been making an impact in commercials but here he shows that his explosive take on visual comedy is well suited to music videos.&nbsp;The film is technically brilliant throughout, with a terrific edit by Lucian Barnard. And the sound design deserves a special shoutout for capturing an anachronistic mix of old martial art&nbsp;film sound effects&nbsp;and contemporary action foley.

Glitchy overlays give the visual the 90's aesthetic it's going for, adding an extra element to the polished concept.&nbsp;DoP&nbsp;Matthew Emvin Taylor utilises clever camera movement to elevate the video, creating a contemporary reimagining of the traditional UKG style.
