The cycle of videos for Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd's current smash hit album Dawn FM takes a phenomenal turn into extraordinarily imaginative anime, courtesy of creative directors Cliqua and French animation director Jocelyn Charles.Following the Cliqua-directed video for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2022/04/13/weeknd-out-time-cliqua/75929" target="_blank">Out Of Time</a> - which ends with the singer drugged, in hospital, and having a mask applied to his face - the promo for How Do I Make You Love Me? begins with Tesfaye waking in a hospital bed wearing the mask, as an animated character. What proceeds is a brilliant 2D animation, greatly influenced by the style of Studio Gibli's Hayao Miyazaki - but somewhat darker...This is a brilliant showcase for the marvellous animation style of&nbsp;Jocelyn Charles, who co-directed&nbsp;the&nbsp;video for French artist L'Impératrice&nbsp;that won Best Animation at the UKMVAs last year. This takes her to the next level.
