Dent De Cuir&#39;s video for Metronomy takes the old saying &quot;If these walls could talk...&quot;, puts it on wheels, and drives it to torment.Following a spurned lover who stands alone in the frame, we see her memories and misery manifest themselves in the reflections of her car&#39;s body. Driving to escape them doesn&#39;t work, and so the video reaches a beautiful, logical, fiery conclusion.

This wonderfully entertaining video for Haitian-Canadian producer/DJ Kaytranada, directed by Montreal-based director Martin C Pariseau is an object lesson in what can be achieved with motion capture now. And it also may help make us stop us worrying about the forthcoming age of the robots.It starts with Louis Kevin Celestin, aka&nbsp;Kaytranada, putting the finishing touches on his own homemade robot - who turns out to be very quick on the uptake in learning the latest dances from Kay (who demonstrates some nifty moves himself). And then the little fella gets&nbsp;sad rather than bad when he finally meets his match.It&#39;s all almost absurdly believeable, with crucial input from several top Quebec-based VFX artists and animators. And the MoCap dance routines are on a similarly awesome level to those gracing <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fd_9qwpzVBQ" target="_blank">the new 2016 AICP Sponsor Reel</a>.

Thibaut Duverneix has conjured up a romantic and&nbsp;magical dance sequence&nbsp;for Elton John&#39;s new&nbsp;song Blue Wonderful. It follows a lonely woman in her suburban home, who dances as if she were&nbsp;in a Broadway musical, and is eventually joined by the man of her dreams when&nbsp;she steps out onto the lawn.&nbsp;The couple, light on their feet to the point of defying&nbsp;the laws of gravity, are a dreamy vision of perfection,&nbsp;until&nbsp;the woman&#39;s partner&nbsp;disappears as quickly as he appears...&nbsp;&nbsp;

Kevin Calero&#39;s video for Montreal-based&nbsp;singer/producer Marie-Helene L. Delorme&nbsp;aka&nbsp;Foxtrott&#39;s <a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2015/05/21/foxtrott-driven-kevin-calero" target="_blank">Driven</a>, focused on&nbsp;contemporary dance movement, choreographed by Calero&#39;s regular collaborator Wynn Holmes,&nbsp;set against scenic&nbsp;Cheltenham&nbsp;Badlands and The Beach,&nbsp;in the outskirts of Toronto. Now the video for Foxtrott&#39;s&nbsp;Shaky Hands expands on the visual language initially explored in that first&nbsp;video, at an even more spectacular location.This time around, the setting is a vast quarry situated&nbsp;four&nbsp;hours north of Montreal, and Calero&nbsp;describes the concept&nbsp;as a&nbsp;&quot;vertical climb through various stages of inner turmoil.&quot; While&nbsp;Holmes&#39;s choreography&nbsp;highlights the song&#39;s musical structure through human movement, the camera scrolls upwards revealing more walls of rock - from which the dancers eventually try to escape.&nbsp;The result is mesmerising interpretation of the&nbsp;idea of &#39;survival of the fittest&#39; - and Calero and company&nbsp;leave the best to last.

Cœur&nbsp;de&nbsp;Pirate has released&nbsp;this beautifully-shot performance video&nbsp;for her song Crier Tout Bas, her&nbsp;second&nbsp;collaboration with director&nbsp;Kevin Calero.Calero&nbsp;was inspired by the visual poetics of Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi, and explained to NOWNESS:&nbsp;&ldquo;The video was shot across vast swathes of California last February.&nbsp;Driving up 5,000ft in altitude in Sequoia National Park at night without winter tires [sic] or phone reception during a snowstorm definitely made this a memorable experience. It felt ironic to have left the Montréal winter to shoot snow-covered sequoias and cacti in California.&quot;
