Carter tracks the relationship of two brothers from youth to adulthood, in the ethereal&nbsp;promo for Tell It To My Heart.The video opens with sweeping shots of beautiful Mexican landscapes, where two characters rest on a concrete structure in the middle of a body of water.Match-cutting between vignettes of the characters as kids and then as adults, we see the pair perform abstract movements, which are intercut with snapshots of a dreamlike narrative.[imgtoken data:1]Stunningly shot by Miguel Zetina, the visual feels strangely tactile yet imperceptible, blurring the boundaries between fantasy and reality whilst remaining decidedly univocal in its concept."Directing Tell It To My Heart&nbsp;was a beautiful experience," says Carter.&nbsp;"Not only because it is based on a true story, but also because I wanted to show that love is love, that you have to accept yourself for who you are and not be scared to show it."I wanted to create a piece that was intimate. A piece that showed Mexico in a different light, to convey that the macho culture that is present in Mexico can be broken. Love conquers all."

Mathew Cullen and Katy Perry explore the intrinsically flawed ideals of the nuclear family in this CGI-heavy theme park clip for Chained To The Rhythm.Employing the retro-futurism aesthetic and running with it full pelt into Katy Perry&#39;s standard pastel-pink&nbsp;and blue&nbsp;colour palette, exploring a trip to an all-American 50s-style theme park where the squeaky-clean fun and prosperity takes a disturbing turn.&nbsp;By the end, in a highly melodramatic reaction shot, that is all too clear to Katy.&nbsp;So on one level the video&nbsp;can be read as a&nbsp;metaphor for the worryingly herd-like behaviour that&#39;s a by-product of our self-obsessed, fun-seeking&nbsp;modern culture. On another it&#39;s just a fun, CGI-laden trip into a quasi-Disney dystopia with incredible costumes and production design - and you&#39;d never expect anything less from a Katy Perry video, right? Both ways, it&#39;s another impressive achievement by Mathew Cullen.

Katy Perry returns with a blockbuster production of VFX directed by Mathew Cullen that takes her all-American girl-next-door candy-coloured aesthetic to a whole new level. In fact, to a logical conclusion. 
Mathew and a team of Motion Theory artists have created Candyfornia - a confectionery dreamworld featuring Katy as the candy queen who saves her fellow princesses of Candyfornia from the not-so-sweet Snoop Dogg. 

The whipped-cream spurting bra was presumably Katy's idea.
