Ah, it&#39;s on video!&#39;&nbsp;concept, the video starts out as a series of strange and awkward portraits. That is, until you realise that the true subject matter of the video is lurking in the background.It&#39;s a clever bait and switch from Clarkson that invites you to really take in the whole picture, rather than focus on what&#39;s in front of you.

Davis Silis, take a bow. This perfectly choreographed fight sequence with a twist manages to accomplish a hell of a lot in a confined space.An empty carriage on a Victoria Line underground, two men in the throes of a brawl that could have been lifted straight from any action/thriller. Silis knows this and uses it to play with the form of the trope, and how it contrasts with the themes of the song. Asking the question &quot;why do we hurt the ones we love?&quot; without providing a clear-cut answer, the video takes some unexpected twists and turns without ever leaving the carriage.The video is made even more impressive when you know that one of the fighters (Formation&#39;s Will Riston) actually dislocated his arm very early in the shoot, and still pulled out a pretty fantastic performance.

Daniel Harris&#39; directing debut for&nbsp;London five-piece HAUS&#39;s track Blinded&nbsp;sees a depiction of raw&nbsp;heartbreak, a simple,&nbsp;relatable&nbsp;anti-Valentines clip showing&nbsp;the painful&nbsp;side of love.&nbsp;With flashbacks to a couple&#39;s better days, it follows a young man as he runs through an&nbsp;underground tunnel (the &#39;foot tunnel&#39; between Greenwich and the Isle of Dogs in East London, in fact), towards his lover as she takes a bat to his heart - represented by a piñata. When the bruised and beated fellow reaches her, she deals a final blow&nbsp;smashing it to the ground.

The Libertines have released this shocker&nbsp;for Heart Of The Matter, directed by their regular collaborator Roger Sargent, which confronts their legendary&nbsp;notoriety head-on in a lurid&nbsp;satire on excess&nbsp;and tabloid demonisation.The setting is a twisted&nbsp;peep-show,&nbsp;where paying customers&nbsp;are privy to frontmen&nbsp;Peter Doherty and Carl Barat taking turns in torturing, tormenting and&nbsp;forcing&nbsp;drugs upon&nbsp;what turns out to be (spoiler alert)&nbsp;themselves.&nbsp;And perhaps the most irksome image&nbsp;is&nbsp;of a&nbsp;couple who are&nbsp;literally getting off on&nbsp;the ultra-violence.Sargent describes the video as a reflection of the song&#39;s unflinching gaze at the damage that Doherty and Barat have done to themselves over the past decade. &quot;It will probably upset people. It is honest,&quot; he says.&nbsp;He also argues that if the video is labelled as controversial, that will be itself part of the demonising process by the media. &quot;The people who will react in mock horror, to demonise and belittle do so only to sell more papers. They are really the ones that inhabit our little peep show.&quot;

That was clear from their surprise set at Glastonbury, and it&#39;s very much the case with the video for Gunga Din, where their longtime filmmaking collaborator Roger Sargent has captured them in fine, suitably mischievous form in just their kind of place -&nbsp;wandering down Walking Street&nbsp;in Pattaya,&nbsp;the sex capital of Thailand - and hitting the booze.&nbsp;Roger Sargent has been documenting the making of the first&nbsp;Libertines&nbsp;album in over a decade - and he&#39;s now&nbsp;joined the directors&#39; roster at&nbsp;Burning Reel. On the basis of this, danger and bad behaviour has returned to rock and roll. Not before&nbsp;time.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Last year, directly after signing to Burning Reel,&nbsp;Charles De Meyer directed his first Circa Waves video, for&nbsp;<a href="http://www.promonews.tv/videos/2014/10/27/circa-waves-so-long-charles-de-meyer" target="_blank">So Long</a>. This time around, he has paired up with the Liverpudlian indie-rockers for their track&nbsp;T-Shirt Weather. The video, a&nbsp;colourful concept performance piece, executes a simple idea remarkably well.&nbsp;Shot by Jon Iles, it&nbsp;captures the nostalgic theme of the song as the band plays on a&nbsp;giant, revolving slide-carousel as&nbsp;vintage home movies are projected onto the scene.&nbsp;Revolving&nbsp;in space,&nbsp;the band gives a frenzied, high-energy&nbsp;performance,&nbsp;in and out of&nbsp;the paths of projected light, resulting in an array of fantastic, glowing silhouettes&nbsp;and prismatic broken beams.&nbsp;In keeping with Circa Waves&#39;s&nbsp;energetic&nbsp;indie-rock beat, the video&#39;s edit (by Charles himself) is welcomely&nbsp;frenetic,&nbsp;keeping the viewer engaged till the end.&nbsp;
