Following the breathtaking video&nbsp;for <a href="http://Florence + The Machine 'King' by Autumn de Wilde">King</a>, Autumn de Wilde continues her collaboration with Florence + The Machine in&nbsp;this untamed promo for Heaven Is Here.&nbsp;Taking things back to where they started in the previous video, Florence appears with the same group of dancers,&nbsp;this time appearing as one of them,&nbsp;losing the purple shroud and the supernatural aura of her previous incarnation.&nbsp;The performance is feral, impulsive and assertive, and the overall atmosphere&nbsp;feels incredibly raw and authentic. This is certainly the&nbsp;spiritual successor to King, which feels otherworldly and transcendent whilst building upon the abstract narrative and themes of the music.&nbsp;As mentioned in our review of the King,&nbsp;many of the people involved in making the&nbsp;video, from the Ukranian production company Radioaktive and other freelance film crew, are&nbsp;now fighting for the survival of their country, and their lives. Our prayers are with them and their fellow citizens.

Florence + The Machine returns and reunites with Autumn de Wilde, with the epic video for King - steeped in religious imagery and most poignantly filmed in Kyiv weeks before Ukraine was plunged into war.Florence Welch appears to a troubled young man (played by Jack Riddiford) as a floating vision in a purple shroud, in the manner of the Virgin Mary. From this gripping beginning,&nbsp;de Wilde allows an extraordinary set-piece to play out, with the help of choreographer Ryan Heffington and a visual effects department led by Denis Reva.Florence is joined by her female followers within the grounds of a half-built building, and she and her disciplines eventually, breathtakingly, take to the air, reflecting the characteristically Florence-like nature of the song, striving for a higher,&nbsp;transcendent level.[imgtoken data:1]It's the second time Autumn de Wilde has worked with Florence + The Machine, following the UKMVA-winning video for <a href="https://www.promonews.tv/videos/2018/06/22/florence-machine-big-god-autumn-de-wilde/53767" target="_blank">Big God</a>. This shares the exquisitely composed quality of that video, on a more ambitious scale, and also that strong sense of female solidarity&nbsp;between Florence and a group of dancers who become personalities in themselves once they arrive on screen.&nbsp;A powerful video. Charlotte Regan, recently named Shots Awards&rsquo; Young Director of the Year, shows exactly why she is so highly regarded in her new video for Wilkinson.&nbsp;It stars Thomas Turgoose of This Is England fame trying to make a connection with a girl who lives in his building. Negotiating numerous fellow residents along the way, and demonstrating his general good-egg qualities, Regan tells a story of a slowly budding romance from a single perspective. Everything takes place in the lift.&nbsp;What stands out is how Regan teases out the characters of her leads within a situation that, realistically enough, involves the rich tapestry of people who live in the building. And everyone else comes alive under her direction too. Impressive stuff.&nbsp; &nbsp;
