Daniel Brereton directs a cheerful promo&nbsp;for Villagers' new track The First Day.&nbsp;Embodying the refrain of the track, "The first day of the rest of your life", Brereton presents a handful of colourful characters,&nbsp;who are shown rediscovering the world around them.&nbsp;Especially relevant due to the fact it was filmed between lockdowns last year, the concept visualises a newfound sense of respect for the everyday, and focuses on a young girl who floats around a residential estate, before landing to experience joy in a multitude of different ways.&nbsp;Shot on film, the project has a uniquely nostalgic and universal vibe, which is enhanced by bold colour palettes and sharp styling, and wonderful performances across the board.&nbsp;
